You do know that the RL version of the Vestra can't fly upside down too, right? You do know that its V-shaped tail is why the Vestra can't stay upside-down, not because "it not agile".

 

And just because the plane can't fly upside down it doesn't mean the plane is sh*t or its not agile. An agile plane can perform Barrel Rolls/Loop-The-Loop's in seconds. It has nothing about flying upside down for a long time or not.

My only experience with the Vestra that I can recall was that I called one in, thought "damn that's ugly", flew it for a bit, tried to fly it upside down and because it failed to manage it I barrelled into the ground.

 

Sorry that I don't like it but if I'm going to fly a so called agile plane I like to fly it upside down from time to time. It's something I enjoy doing.

It's got a good roll-rate, knifes well, good top speed for a 2-seat plane, doesn't explode from a missile strike (I've been able to make a landing after a second missile hit it), fairly short take-off, and unlike some of the prop planes and acrobatic jets like the Besra you can aim at the horizon and put the controller down and leave it for minutes and when you come back you're still on course at the same altitude. The Cuban likes to fall out of the sky if the throttle isn't mashed and the Besra is unstable (that's good for some things, bad for others), plus it has a narrow wingspan that gives it the ability to get through some tight spaces at full speed. Also one of the few planes you could land at the McKenzie airfield, turn it around quickly without damage, and take back off again.

Is it the greatest plane in the game? No.

Is it a very good plane? Yes, IMO. It should be in the top-5 if not the top-3

 

In the pre-Hydra days of Special Crate hunting, it was my go-to vehicle: faster than most, able to shrug a missile (usually) if not at least survive it, excellent loiter ability for a non-helicopter, and got me to the military base for a parked Lazer if it was going to be a firefight.

Fair enough. My main problem is that I don't like the look of it and that's pretty much a deal breaker for me. The fact it can't fly upside down is only a minor issue but not irrelevant either.

There goes your problem. GTA vehicles (and ESPECIALLY the aircraft's) are based on their real-life version. It would literally out of place to add a plane that can't fly upside-down, only to make it fly upside-down all normal in-game.
