Hey first of all thank you man, I know you hear it a lot but this is one of the best mods for GTA V.

 

Now I just want to make one little nitpick. On the civilian version of the police Interceptor, the headlight coronas are not aligned correctly. Is this something you could fix in a future update? Thanks :)

This guy imported a custom model into the game using GIMS EVO. He claims that this wasn't possible until January the 3th.

 

Is this in any way related to what you said about the fragments?

They recently updated GIMS, but it is only for YDR (map models). YFT are still unsuported.

Just installed this on my GTA V, went out hunting for a Presidente (Love the CTS-V in real life!) and the minute a classic Cheetah spawned, the game crashed, sadly. Hopefully someone can get the ball rollin' again, either that or Rockstar finishes bringing back our favorites from Liberty City. :p

Either way, just wanted to say great job on converting all these up! I know it can't be an easy task squishing the new interiors into old cars, considering all of them are probably shaped REALLY differently out of the box! The crashing might give me a reason to play EFLC finally, but really what good is a cool car if you can't slap a body kit and a bunch of engine upgrades onto it? XD

How would one make this compatible with FiveReborn?

I downloaded and installed it on my SP build and i think that after reading the correct tutorial i can do that for part of IV pack, however, i noticed that a few vehicles (like Comet), gets replaced with a variant that looks like the GTA IV versions. How would i extract them and add correctly in the addon?

EDIT:I think i got it, thanks anyway.

Has anyone managed to successfully merge Realism Dispatch Enhanced 3.0.1 and the newest IVPack? The latest compatibility patch is over a year old. My research at my own merging has concluded that:

- in order to work, RDE must be installed first, and then IVPack - not other way around;

- both RDE and IVPack vehicles can be spawned via a trainer;

- RDE emergency vehicles lack their enhanced lighting system - they reuse vanilla emergency lighting;

- IVPack and DLC cars don't spawn in the streets.

 

So, the merging sort of works - but not nearly good enough.

Point 3 happens because both IVPack and RDE use a modified version of carcols.ymt. As far as I know IVPack only adds a tuning part to the Comet, so you should be able to merge both files into one.

Point 4 probably happens because of incompatibility between the different popgroups.ymt files the mods use so you'll have to merge these too.

The dlclist.xml you provided lacks this line:

        <Item>dlcpacks:\pres\</Item>

So I used my leftover file from my experiments that had the line.

 

Right now, it looks like the mods coexist. However, I noticed Primos Custom spawn often.

Anyway, thank you and great job as always, CP. :D

EDIT: A few minor bugs and observations:

- LSPD Merit is dubbed as a Police Stanier:

- Thanks to RDE emergency lighting script, the IVPack police vehicles behave differently - they flash both their headlights AND taillights with siren on like the addon police cars :D (Police Presidente, both Enforcers) or are a bit broken - only the rear lights flash, like in a vanilla police car (Police Stanier 1st gen) or just the front lights flash (Police Merit). Having known the history of the police Merit derpiness, I'm not really surprised this occurs. Nevermind the Merit, it actually works like many other addon police cars, with just front lights flashing.

 

Overall, the mods seem to cooperate in peace, which is the most important conclusion. :D

With OpenIV's Liberty City coming soon, I expect alot of people will download this mod, I can understand why youre not updating, zmodeler is a pain and untill nothing better comes along then theres no point to updates, I do hope modding tools get better this year though, and with GTA Onlines updates slowing down we wont have new updates ruining mods every so often.

Honestly, Dani2, I can't even tell what's worse, copy the whole model multiple times and calling them lods or not doing them at all. And making screenshots with f*cked up aspect ratio. Look at CP's models in the pack, they all have proper lods, just like the original models. And he even bothered to make them for every single vehicle.

Crashes are really an individual thing, I've been playing few times for two hours without any CTD or other errors.
