After hours and hours of trying to figure how to get RDE to work with IVPack, your fix works flawlessly, no crashes anymore, smooth framerate, I also have other lore friendly vehicles add ons which work too and VisualV. Ill probably make a thread with an index to find all Lore friendly mods from cars, scripts etc... Its hard to find decent lore friendly mods for GTA V.

Nah, Cheeternus Classic looks like a poop, I will never remove that beauty which is Thundersmacker's Cheetah Classic. Expect an update later today.

imo they almost got it right, beside the front bumper infernus looks pretty good to me

and it doesn't really interfere with testarossa cheetah

 

also if you ever get back to this mod you should change the interior in cheetah to the one from new turismo, it would fit much better than the stinger interior.

OpenIV can't edit dlclist.xml, probably update.rpf file is Read only.

Doesn't work - check is not removing. I uncheck the "Read-Only", quit from "Properties", go to "Properties" again, and "Read-Only" check appears again. Trying use a cmd.exe, but he give me error:

"Error in parameter format"

Although judging by the instructions, everything is written correctly.

I'm having the same issue as Gena170701... Tried all the solutions mentioned above (also I've tried to unarchive ivpack.oiv, without success), and nothing worked.

 

That's unfortunate, because I love so much this mod! You guys did a great job bringing back all the missing vehicles from GTA IV, especially classic names like the Esperanto, Admiral and Perennial.

I found a solution!


1. Create a "mods" folder in GTA V directory

2. Copy "Update" folder in "mods"

3. Open ivpack.oiv in WinRAR or in something like this

4. Transfer files from ivpack.oiv to the appropriate folders (All paths for files are described in assembly.xml (Open assembly.xml in Notes or Word, because Internet Explorer starts launching)


If you have "mods" folder already, just use 3 and 4 step


p.s. All cars from new DLC is not spawning. Have a nice day :DDD

Ahh, so that's how I can install the mod manually! I did the 3rd and 4th steps...

 

However, I still couldn't spawn the vehicles. I've checked the dlclist.xml and I noted that the line "<Item>dlcPacks:\pres\</Item>" was incorrect for some reason.

 

After this little fix, everything worked like a charm! The vehicles are spawning on the streets and I can spawn them via trainer again!

But, just testing, I tried to install the patch on OpenIV and that issue still persist. I'll keep my post on OpenIV subforum like you suggested, so if that issue happen again in a future patch for some reason, I'll know what to do.

IV cars not showing up in the Spawn Menu of my trainer. Everything runs fine and I can spawn the unreleased cars, but no names are showing up for the "added vehicles menu" area.

Where would I find them? And I'm guessing you mean add them to the INI file of my trainer (I use Simple Trainer). I only really use my PC copy of the game for unreleased cars, so every time there's a new update it's a sh*tshow for me. If you don't feel like bothering to help me, won't take it personally.

 

IV vehicles are spawning in traffic, and I can use the unreleased cars but I just can't spawn the IV vehicles through the trainer. That's my only issue.

So I have to manually enter all 80 vehicles from IV Pack? Wtf? They used to just add themselves in there no problem when I'd run ivpack.oiv in OpenIV

Thanks a lot man. Lost my saved cars somewhere in the process but oh well, no biggie.

 

Side notes: Idk if it's just me, but whenever I spawn in the Turismo from IV Pack, it spawns the Turismo Classic (Edit: Just saw Gena's post)

 

Also, Modena Typhoon isn't showing up on the "Added vehicles list", but can be spawned in by name.
