i think its last gen but im not sure

last gen or old gen is ps3 and xbox360 i think

I've been having fun spying on, and sneaking up on other players. They usually shoot me on sight, but it's all in good fun.

 

As fun as it is, it definitely needs to be patched. For every one person using it for harmless screwing around, there are 100 more using it to slaughter entire lobbies with Hydras and whatnot.

I must admit that I've been enjoying the hell out of this glitch. I don't use it to grief people though, in fact, my K/D ratio has actually gone down a full .10 ever since I've been messing around with it. I've been having fun spying on, and sneaking up on other players. They usually shoot me on sight, but it's all in good fun.

There are quite a few posts on R* Support page, one even has a reply from one of the staff:

I would do the same thing as he did, record the footage upload it to YouTube and report them to R*.

 

The more complaints they get the more likely it is that they look into hot-fixing this.

 

Maybe they could close the Movie Theater until the next update?

 

This would solve the problem and they could patch the bug properly in the next T.U.

I tried it for the first time last night and didn't kill one player. I did, however, hide behind objects and shoot players with the flare gun. I was killed many times but the reactions were great!

Yes, using this glitch is akin to date rape.

 

And the people who use it are as bad as Hitler.

Or use the Weazel News van and follow them closely from behind while in a police chase.

This glitch really does rock my confidence to its core. I played like absolute trash these last couple of days. Last night there were literally 8 people permanently off radar. A couple were my crew mates whom i unnecessarily dispatched and then i was just murdered like crazy by the other two crews that were abusing this. I finally gave in and entered the glitch myself only trying to kill fellow glitchers. We had a passive crew mate follow a glitcher and i would continously strafe his blip till i got a kill on the glitcher.

 

This glitch really takes away from my experience online. I hope it goes away.forever. so annoying.

:D no, but that made me laugh.

I know that they are not banning anyone, at least any huge mass banning, but i still hope that they will fix this fast. There has been some creative possibilities, but all of them would work just fine if there was no passive blip. Let's be honest, with gta players mindset this will always bring more bad than good.

FYI.. For those who have not figured this out yet. Although players are glitching out their dots on the map you can pull up your phone and select the player then chose the "highlight" option. This will then make a dot appear above the players head if they appear on your screen but they will still not have a dot on the map. Hope this helps out. :cool:

I was in a lobby full of them. I don't think it would be a good idea to have such a thing as a permanent option as you would never be able to find anyone.

having a beeping gps tracker on me that all the other 29 criminals in the city can use to track me i find very immersion breaking.

With such a big map, and having 30 players, at most, this is not really i good idea IMHO.

That's why invite only exists, when you don't want to play with others, go invite only, or solo, as you wish, this ruins the game for everybody
