Sure he was a softie sometimes and he tried to escape from the world of crime, but he was a badass and a guy to be feared. Vic > all of the other 3D era protagonists. Sorry, Tommy. In fact, he is my most favorite protagonist. Unlike all protagonists before him, he is forced into life of crime, and it is not a choice he makes eaisly. However, on the downside, he has a soft character - something that allows others to 'ride' him, namely Marty and Lance. Everyone (Including other protagonists) is an hypocrite at one point or another. I think R* went for a protagonist like Vic to build-up to more realistic characters in IV. PhillBellic, Eugene H. Probably because the game came out on PSP then on PS2 later on in the year. It's a shame that people were more interested in seventh generation consoles and PC gaming by the time VCS came out. Fanbase always beats around the bush the issue that he's alledgelly a morally upstanding citizen... that created a criminal empire, his canon has been ruined too, i can't take him seriously because of it. Prasdana21 Posted November 13, 2016 Share Posted November 13, 2016 One of the most underrated yes. He's basically Niko in 3D Universe. Both have morals and warm hearts. Both men are former Soldiers. Overall, they have similar personality IMO. The only difference between them though, that Niko never became a Drug Kingpin like Victor did. The most underrated IMO is Mike from Advance. He is loyal yet won't think twice to kill traitors. Mike is a good protagonist, it's just...he isn't as popular as other. Yes, same case with Vic too.
