Well EA have taken steps to fix the PC version of FIFA, atleast they claim so. The fully trusted Norwegian gaming news site www.gamer.no quoted this

f*ck the console whores. I like consoles but PC gaming always felt better for some reason.

 

As far as sports games are concerned they can go f*ck themselves. Sport games suck anyway. All best action games and RPGs are released for PC. So that leaves adventures, fighting games and sports games dominating the consoles. Although 3dr person shooters are common on both consoles and PC. Consoles wont get much more then PC.

You're saying FIFA is currently the best managment game? No, no, the best management game is without doubt the Football Manager series, wich is made by the original developers of Championship Manager(CM today is developed by a new developer).

Championship manager (pre-FM) was developed by Sports Interactive and published by Eidos. After the contract ended, Eidos where left with the Championship manager name and SI everything else. SI then developed Football Manager 2005 which was published by SEGA.

I hope you don't mind me saying so, but I was bitching and moaning about this a couple of months back. Yeah, nobody was listening. Sport games are not that important, but it does show the intention of EA to put down PC gaming. Like it says in the article, the PC versions of EA sh*ts titles is getting worse while they do invest more into their console counterparts. This way anyone looking at them and comparing would be like "Wow, PC games really do suck!" because all the mentioned titles on PC really are that bad.

There is one important PC sports game title(at least in europe) and that is the Football Manager series, the only annual title I buy every year.

Pagliarulo also played an integral role in Bethesda's previous PC and console RPG effort, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, writing the Dark Brotherhood storyline. That game has gone on to sell millions across PCs and consoles.

 

"...I think we're starting to find that there is a market for [hardcore 'PC RPGs' on consoles]. People like myself and some people that work here actually grew up as hardcore PC guys, and now we're older, we have kids, we don't have that much time, so we've transitioned. We're console players now.

 

"But we still have those PC game sensibilities. Those are the games we like. So I think BioShock has a little bit of that too. You can definitely feel the old System Shock roots in that game. So hopefully there's a trend there."

 

Oh well, that's that. I had my doubts already, but now I'm sure. No Fallout 3 for me, there's no way I can support these pandering, low creatures by buying their game.

They're consoles GAMING whores. Making OSsseseses doesn't make a difference. They've admitted that the X360 is their main priority, and Vista, which is an OS. Not related with games. Except for requiring better systems and giving us GfW Live.

Shafting PC gamers to prop up their non-profiting idiotic console business model? Oh yes, very much a bunch of whores.

 

 

On a global scale the Windows Vista business is as important as our Xbox 360 business. [hahaha!] But in Germany for example, we want more gamers to buy our Xbox 360. If we launch a game that is on 360 and PC simultaneously, we basically shoot ourselves in the foot by allowing the German market to choose to play the PC version – because they are more likely to buy that than spend their money on the Xbox 360.
