How's this one guys? Decided to go with an i5 : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/bfmFYJ

Looks good, just make sure you have a USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 motherboard adapter because that motherboard doesn't have a USB 3.0 connector.

Basically something like this:

Also, the power supply wouldn't be on my recommendation list especially with the build estimated that close to the PSU limit.

Personally, I'd recommend this PSU. It's the same tier as the CX but higher wattage and a more reliable OEM (Seasonic).

I'm trying to mod Call of Duty 2 so the AI use the weapons I added into the game

script errors galore :)

So I just noticed this:

http://callofduty.ingame.de/index.php?page=Attachment&attachmentID=42277

Its in BF4, only on the ground it seems, only notice it when laying down on the floor.

People suggested that its a bad signal as I use HDMI and play on my TV atm.

But if its the cable would I even be able to capture it in a screenshot, this artifact or whatever it is?!

Trying to play Payday: The Heist on my laptop and the game keeps minimizing. I recall someone telling me that there might be a program running that causes it to do so. But I don't know what program. Running Windows 7. Any tips?

There are some programs that optimize your games depending on your specs. On Nvidia cards, there's GeForce Experience, and on AMD cards, there's AMD Gaming Evolved. I don't know about GeForce Experience, but AMD's doesn't auto-optimize games unless you want.

Could just be the fact that your TV isn't good enough for using as a PC when playing fast games, and that it could be an odd artifact or even just a tear in the screen if it happens only in the ground. Also depends on what settings you play on, it might be that your grass or something is turned to low and you get those odd pixilated area's to lower performance?

iNero: Have you got another monitor to try it on? Like rebel says it could be something like anisotropic filtering.

Since I was able to take screenshots it cant be the cable or monitor.

GPU is a 780 so I play on Ultra preset.

I can live with it. Im just worried that its a hardware problem.

It's probably an in-game rendering bug.

If its the only game you have issues with then its probably just the quality EA give their grass in general and have nothing to worry about.

Any keyboard and mouse players out there?

Also, has anyone ever considered a possible controller/mouse hybrid scheme where you could use the controller when driving(obviously WAY better than keyboard and mouse), but then switch to a mouse with your right hand when on foot for a shootout, (but keep using the controller with the left for your movements)? THAT, would be the ultimate scheme if it was possible.

But I would settle for just being able to switch from the controller for driving and keyboard/mouse when on foot.

Thoughts?

Most people's driving is "digital" rather than analogue on last gen controllers anyway so keyboard would make no difference for them! LOL!

Returned to Pc gaming recently and I'm quite happy too see Wasteland 2, Pillars of eternity and Torment: Tides of Numenera all isometric Rpgs that are scheduled for release or have been released. It's quite nice seeing this resurgence, the general quality of rpgs has taken a massive dip recently. Bar Mass Effect and too an extent New Vegas I cannot think of one Rpg that I have played that was top quality.

... what? Is this for real?

1) You're supposedly running a socket 1151 Skylake CPU on a socket 1150 motherboard? Max turbo of the 6700K is 4.2GHz btw.

2) How did you even get 25GB's of RAM?

3) Your monitor's max resolution is 3440x1440 so.... yeah. http://www.lg.com/uk/monitors/lg-34UC97

4) Don't you have an SSD?

5) Aventum II or III?

6) You're not mentioning anything about a PSU.

There are probably a few people on here with more powerful PC's. Pavle, take it away.

Easy, 3 sticks of 8GB, and one of 1GB that you had lying around because 24GB wasn't enough :p
