Say it ain't so ...Yeah, I was a bit skeptical since they were going multi-platform (or were trying to..), but regardless, very much looked forward to seeing what they would've came up with.

 

Fortunately the mod community keep on giving so much, the series will be enjoyed for many years to come. Maybe what GSC had will just be freely released and ignite a lot of great new work. Or, since they're both signed to THQ, how awesome would it be for 4A Games to resurrect Stalker 2 and hire several former GSC people (along with those they've already got)! We'll see...

For Portal 2, it goes PC (Always will be with Valve) >> PS3 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Xbox 360.

 

At least Sony allowed Steam on the PS3 version so you can use your Steam account to track and unlock both trohpies and Achievements and follow the news, etc, plus it was nice to see Steam UI on a console.

Didn't want to believe it but looks like GSC really closed. They promised an official announcement on Monday.

 

P.S. Some people report that Generals 2 were revealed on Origin and then vanished. Hmmm. 1 hour for the probable announcement.

I think that I'm one of the few people ever to never have had more problems introduced with a patch than fixed. It works just as good as it's always done for me, with better performance in some areas of the game.

 

On the subject of Skyrim, I was playing it on my mate's PS3 today and found it funny that it performs much worse and looks graphically terrible compared to mine on the PC. He also has a fair few bugs. I feel sorry for PS3 users.

Yeah, Bethesda does not know how to code for the PS3. The only game that played great on the PS3 was Oblivion, because they outsourced it to another studio. I don't understand why they can't do the same for the other games.z Hence the reason why I bought Skyrim for PC. Oh and mods, can't forget about the mods.

I think it's because they develop for all three platforms simultaneously now but Oblivion was released for PS3 after the other two platforms.

I remember before I got a gaming PC and I played Fallout 3 on PS3. Oh my, was it f*cking awful. Hourly crashes, horrendous lag, several quest breaking bugs and terrible graphics. Never again.

Just did a BSEL and VID mod to my CPU, it was a pain in the ass to get the pieces of tape the right size but I pulled it off and......

It's amazing what a mere 600mhz increase can do!

Crysis went from 14-26fps to 36-60 fps!

GTA IV is finally playable for me now. It went from 10-22fps to 26-55, usually at 45fps!

Too bad I can't push it any further than 3ghz using tape mods.

I'm trying not to watch many videos coz I don't wanna spoil it (YouTube being slow as f*ck is helping), but apparently its a lot more linear than Postal 2 (its out in Russia).

 

Hope it isn't true though, the freedom in Postal 2 was awesome.

 

Setting people on fire and putting 'em out by peeing on em only to do it again and again and again. Man Postal 2 was awesome.

After watching a stream of someone playing it I am not interested at all. Either I grew out of Postal 2's targeted humor or it's just not as funny. It also doesn't help that it's a third person shooter now.

That is correct. But I won't buy it until I see some cool mods for it. It looks kinda juvenile in a bad way. We already have Saints Row for that and I wasn't crazy enough for that game to buy it.
