SirDarknight
I heard lot of things such as. it takes 4 hours to install blah blah blah.. It took me only 32 mins. Anyway, I'm already impressed with it's HUGE size. What I wanna know is that I saw a lot of updates, patches etc. in the Google. Can you plz suggest me which ones I should install for best performance? My Laptop's spec is not good(meets the minimum requirements though) so I've to focus on the performance rather than graphics. Any advice is welcomed. Also, is there any 'everything about GTA V' topic somewhere?
MarshallRawR
Hi, first it would help to know which version of the game you have (Steam, Rockstar's digital or DVDs). I guess the very first version of the game, after the 5Gb patch (contains DLCs) might be the best one. Though the latest version is stable now. Please note that you'll not be able to play GTA:O without the latest patch.
SirDarknight
I bought it from a local store which contained 8 DVDs. I copied them to my HD and installed using setup.exe I don't need GTA:O
MarshallRawR
Alright, so I personally always update my game but it should work that way.If you wish to keep the game to the first version, you'll have to keep the update.rpf and the two .exe from that version and block GTAV with your firewall.Note that there is a periodical verification so you might have to get online again. I'd suggest perhaps doing a research on the forum, I've seen numerous post about that kind of stuff.
