What do you mean?

For example, in GTA V news broadcast, it tells that LC suffered from a hurricane.

There will also be other ad boards, some buildings will be demolished, others abandoned.

 

Perhaps finished construction sites? I mean the one at south algonquin would probably take A LOT of work to be completed.Actually i think finished construction sites would take less work than the ones in progress, as construction sites have more details. The old hospital ruins could be gone.

There could be new building sites, though. Also boarded up windows, sunken ships in the river, grass on the rails of the old subway...

Yea, but someone would have to make the big building complex instead of just converting the existing models. But I'd love to see that.

Personally I think first the original map has to be converted, including additions and enhancements introduced in EfLC. Then, if needed, someone will give it 2013-ish look.

Are there mods that have fused the IV and EfLC maps with features, anyway?

Also conversion process still have to be properly done.

nkjellman merged or tried to merge EFLC mapd with stock IV, I don't know how far he went.

Time to blow the dust off this topic. So again, CP, how did you manage to insert the converted models into the game's world? As far as I know, files that contain the placement data are still not cracked.

Did you mean Rotterdam Tower? I just replaced Maze Bank Tower, but specular maps aren't designed to work with V (IV used spec map by channel for optimization).

Wonder what did GTARandom use for converting the map. Sure enough, there's NTA's tools, but has the placement file formats been fully reverse-engineered already?

There doesn't appear to have any LODs loaded (if it does the car would've had any reflections at all) so it could've been just another FiveM map. Not unless if GTARandom was intrepid enough to crack the map formats himself or something.

It sucks when you want to do something but has no idea how to and can't learn for reasons.

Weird, the screenshots seems to have LOD Support... I saw blurry buildings. Even if GTARandom said there isn't.

As we know, the problem that seemed to made the game crash while using many regions was because there was no LOD Support.

 

But maybe it's the Mipmapping thing, I don't know.

1. it is using this tool GIMSV to import export map assets. You can find it on GTA5mods.com

From what I hear it's a private version of FiveM.

2. You wont get it. However the FIVEM out right now only Loads Offline due to a altered Launcher Method... so yes you can still import maps but not ONLINE.

This one? This? Hard to tell...

OpenIV team was supposedly making one too, so we have two possible options in the moment. One less likely than the other.

Well thanks for the info & replies guys. I really hope this isn't just a giant cocktease. I'm surprised none of the people who worked on have come forward and talked about it. Would a project like this be illegal? Maybe that's why the devs are hushed about it?
