Turned out the Vig is the beast when it comes to TTs; 12s under par first attempt even with a dozen seriously injured NPC drivers...

 

Look forward to trying some new routes on the more indirect TTs.

I was hesitating buying the Vigilante only for TT...

But still, I managed to get this one under par, first attempt on the Hak drag, which I also bought specifically half a year ago ^^

well I did a 2:02 with my H Drag , first attempt , but then I decided to take my Vigilante for a tst drive ..... and It absolutely smashed it ! It was a bit tricky to drive though ...

My very first time doing this Time Trial ever and I don't consider myself good at TT's in general, but 1:59.995 with the Vigilante on the first try.

Did another Vigilante run, got bumped by the cops a little too, but mostly could avoid them

Vigilante crushed this. I tried some creative routes at first but ultimately it was easier to just follow the normal route and try to drive well.

Any coronas on top of parking garages are automatically eliminated. So annoying when you're doing the trial on a bike. Plus ever since they made that change to the reset function, if you reset you usually have to drive back through all levels of the parking garage again... gah!

For some reason I couldn't do this in the Vigilante probably due to the boost and the start of the trial both being E, it would shoot off, but not start the TT. I've done a previous one in the Vigilante without this problem. I just got my hak drag and beat it with that.

Wouldn't there be no collision if you were doing the time trial? i.e. you are passive from their perspective?

That's what I was thinking of doing. I might put it at Z since I use the left shift and crtl to move it up and down.

Not gonna work, you're in passive while doing time trial, you'd fall right through the airplane.

The run was pretty simple. Don't hit sh*t, smash the apexes, and keep your foot down. Easy.

Try lifting a Guardian with a Cargobob, and jump into that. Might work.

Wanted something more normal (pariah seems 'normal' but so powerful) this rotation, as I was pretty satisfied with last rotationss vigi run, (which I never shared here, unware of these threads existance, I think..) Have a nice weekend all!
