After a few tries with NPC morons swerving into me I did it with a time of 2:18:550 on Bati 801RR. Close enough. Has anyone beat the time with a stock car/bike? Don't have any engine upgrades unlocked (and likely won't have) so I have to use a stock vehicle for these.

I'm in the same boat. I could do the first 2 time trials on my stock Bati but this one is not possible, best i've got so far is 7 seconds off and it's fair to say i'm not going to be able to make up all that time.

So, f*ck this time trial. It's not possible. I don't believe any of you have done it. You're all lying. ALL OF YOU.

Driving flawlessly, following a perfect racing line and not bumping into anything at all, wheelie-ing the entire way in a Hakuchou doesn't even get me close to the par time.

I'll wait for the Mount Gordo time trial. Got my Akuma, Bati 801, and might even kill an O'Neil brother for his Sanchez and try the time trial with it.

Well Im the only one who done it with Hakuchou, the other used Bati.

Maybe try that, Seems Bati is easier to use.

not bumping into anything at all,

That's your problem, have you seen the fastest times? They bump into everything!

I cannot count the number of times I had an NPC pull out in front of me or swerve when they actually had no where to go, like the guy who decided to take a sharp left into the break down lane...on the bridge before the tunnel. I was happily crusing in the breakdown lane, doing my wheelie, making good time. Then, BAM, I'm thrown over the side of the bridge, attempt over. My favorite though was the dump truck that decided to pull a U-turn in the middle of the tunnel the first time I entered with a sub 1:40 time. I was real happy with that one.

After a couple of hours of things like that which I described above, I finally beat the par time with the Adder. I didn't expect it but it's straight line speed is king here. I tried with my Bati and I couldn't, for the life of me, get a stretch of road that would allow me to wheelie more than a few seconds. I even tried the T20 but alwas entered the tunnel at 1:40 or 1:42. I also plowed through yellow road markers and didn't give a sh!t about rumble strips with the Adder. Nothing seemed to really slow its pace. If you can get yourself onto the highway with the Adder, you've got a chance. As for the Time Trial itself; I'm never playing this goddamn thing again. As a racing enthusiast and someone that actually likes a tough time to beat, this was too much. I want my lines, and driving to determine my success, not random drivers seemingly programmed to ram you...F this.

Curb boost still happens I would have thought R* would have got rid of this but since it's still here use it to beat this time trial that's the only way you are gonna have a chance I'm gonna try it in my brawler to see if it has a chance

Yeah, I'm with you. I have checked the videos, i do a similar racing line as did the guy with 1.58 or something, i wheelie, duck in the corners, throttle pinned all the way, no hits, bumps, going over sand ANYTHING!

And i get 2.08.5 or so. I could take it if it would be closer, but I am freaking TEN SECONDS BEHIND!!! And four over the limit. I really don't understand, i have played racing games for two decades now, i win in Gt and forza, i win in gtao races. But this. Several seconds off, doing a good line and pulling all the tricks. It's really killing my soul.

Has anyone tried to get a friend to pick you up with a Cargobob?

Can't be done, you're in passive mode.

Been suggested over and over, it doesn't work at all.

Same here. Watching another video just now, I wonder if the difference is that I'm not wheelie-ing enough. The people who broke 2:00, it looks like they wheelie constantly, even if it's only for 20 feet before they have to plant the wheel down to steer again. Gonna try it this morning, despite the vow I made yesterday to give up on this.

I agree I don't see much, if any, difference between ducking and wheeling.

There's a substantial difference. Next time the "highest speed" challenge comes up for you, get on a flat road (airport runway works best) and watch your speed ducking, then do the same run again wheelie-ing. You achieve top speeds in a wheelie that are otherwise impossible ducking. It seems to help acceleration too.

How is this harder than the last one? I don't understand, last one took me nearly 100 attempts, while this took me only about ten.

Is ducking better than riding normally?

Nutduster literally just said it isn't

Last one took me about 30. This one I've tried maybe 40 or 50 times and not even come close.

Maybe it's the fact that traffic is always lagging and glitching and doing random veers to the side when I'm approaching. But I don't understand how this is even possible since a completely "perfect" attempt (i.e, no mistakes, wheelieing the whole time, perfect racing line) didn't even get me close.

Having the same issue and it's exasperating. I just did the best run I've had, with little swerving, light traffic, good lines, some curb-bouncing at the beginning, and as much wheelie-ing as I've done. Was still half a second over. Sigh. They really made these things just a hair too challenging.

Yes

Normal -> Ducking -> Wheelie

So I've been right to always atleast duck, but normally to wheelie.

This is a long shot (and I'm in denial about me sucking this bad) but could it have anything to do with strength? I'm over level 120, but i am almost at minimum stat strength-wise.

Those who have trouble with bike why not just try a car?

I did - Adder and T20 both. I found it just as frustrating in a different way. You have to worry less about your speed, but much more about crashing; particularly the part from the beginning to where you finally get on the highway, I hit (or more often was hit by) an NPC car a number of times. I also found it hard to make the turn onto the exit ramp correctly using the Adder. Just got sick of it and went back to the bike. I didn't have nearly this much trouble doing the last two challenges on a bike, either.

I kept trying with my bati but couldn't do it so bought at adder to do it with. After a few goes got it done in 2.03.993. This one is harder than the first two, do it at night because of less traffic.

I got it on my 3rd try with a T20 with a 2:04.7. My 2nd attempt was a 2:04.98. So far this one was the easiest for me.

Yeah tbh I haven't made it yet. I don't get it. Why is traffic always so damn heavy no matter what time of day I do it?

What kills me is my buddy asked to borrow my T20 for it. He completed it in 2:03:xxx on his second attempt. Like wtf man.
