Welcome to the GTAForums.com Who Do You Support topic, some of the older folks round here may remember that there used to be a topic like this, but it got unpinned and has slowly drifted away into obscurity; so it's time for a reboot.

It's quite simple just add your details using the table below and I'll add it to this post, that way then we all get to know who you support.

Copy and paste the text below and fill in the details and post, they will then get added to the opening post. To add more lines copy everything between and including the "tr" and "/tr" brackets and then paste immediately after the preceding '/tr" bracket and before the "/table" bracket.

Ari Gold Sport Team / Person / Organization Any other information - Football/Soccer Manchester United Inherited support from my old man, who fell in love with the team as a kid in the '60s/70s, watching the likes of George Best and Bobby Charlton. - Football/Soccer Serbia and Australia Parents are from Serbia; born and raised in Australia. Have a general preference for the Serbian team due to love for my heritage, better quality players, and more interesting qualification games (as opposed to Australia who play Bangladesh and Uzbekistan on the regular lol) - Football/Soccer Red Star Belgrade/Crvena Zvezda Dad's childhood team. '91 Champions League winners but since Yugoslavia split apart the team/league's gone to sh*t lol so the only game I bother watching is the derby with Partizan (we won 3-1 a few weeks ago so eat sh*t Grobari) - Football/Soccer Melbourne City FC Local A-League team. Ironic given that they're affiliated with Manchester City, but even when Victory were the only Melbourne team I could not get myself behind the team at all. - Football/Soccer Sevilla (Spain), Schalke (Germany), Napoli (Italy), Olympiakos (Greece), Spartak Moscow(Russia), LA Galaxy (US) Can't really say I'm a "supporter" of these teams per se since I don't follow their leagues closely enough, but they're my favourite teams from those respective leagues. Olympiakos and Spartak are default choices since they're brother clubs to Red Star Belgrade, and my best friend from high school is a Greek Olympiakos supporter. - NFL Oakland Raiders I listened to way too much NWA as a kid lol. Besides, as you'll notice, pretty much all the US teams I follow either currently or previously from LA. Don't follow the team/league as much I'd like to unfortunately. - NBA LA Lakers As above. Plus, Kobe, Divac and the number of Entourage episodes at Lakers games - AFL Richmond Tigers Although football/soccer's my favourite sport, I live in a very AFL-oriented city, and I'd say out of all teams, the Tigers' performance is most likely to induce some sort of emotional reaction from me. Three years in a row we've made the play-offs to lose in the first round, after having made the play-offs since 2001. Pyroshox Sport Team / Person / Organization Any other informaiton - Football Arsenal Supported Arsenal since I moved to England around 2002, I lived around North London, and kind of fell in love with their beautiful play back then. - Football Bayern München Bayern have been the other team I support along with Arsenal for a long time. My father supported them while he grew up, and since they were the star team in Germany while I grew up in the States, I supported them to connect with home more. - Football England Oh what a f*cking tragic tale we are as a football team. We win once in black and white, and now we keep thinking we're gonna go all the way and do it every four years. We've had some great chances, don't get me wrong. 90', 02', and 06'. But I don't think we'll be able to do it again honestly. - Football Germany This team is the team that I support alongside my beloved England. Yes it will involve a game, a glorious game of Russian Roulette, only all the chambers are full and... and... if you are very lucky I might let you go first.

 

But joking aside, does every topic have to a discussion? This forum is filled with pinned topics that are full of information without the need for discussion. This topic is to let your fellow forumers know who you support and also what other sports you are in to, because guess what, you might not have known that someone else has an interest in a particular sport or why they are into that sport, it's all about getting to know folk.
