Do you kill people in Freemode?

If they kill me more than 3 times, yes. Once or twice is forgiveable by me

If they throw a punch I'll consider it a misfire

Strike two? F*ck you, it's a riptide

I don't play games, now your frame doesn't sit right...

Private Custard

I'm like a grenade with the pin just hanging on in there. I don't start fights, I just wait for the first shots to ping off my car as I drive past, then I unleash hell. From that point on, anyone that comes near me is a valid target.......unless they're a low level that's getting griefed, then I make sure and revenge kill his assailant without bothering him!

If I had a motto for GTA:O, it'd probaly be "Boy, that escalated quickly!"

To be honest I'm not a violent type and don't kill people in free roam. (Treat people the way you want to be treated)

My life doesn't suck, so there is no situations where I come back from work frustrated and in need to kill X number of people to feel better about myself. I guess I'd feel worse for ruining someones play time.

"This is GTA and this is game about killing"

No.

It's a sandbox game with hundreds of missions, jobs and activities you can participate in.

From my experience I've noticed that all those players "skilled" in free roam deathmatches tend to suck at missions and heists.

It may be their's broken mentality of "look how good I'm"

They may be good at one aspect but suck at everything else. So they stick to killing people in free roam, abusing combat roll and killing some more.

I guarantee that your "skill" won't impress any girlfriend or your future employer.

And free video as a cherry on top:

I agree with everything but this. This... odd logic that keeps cropping up. Bashing on jet griefers by saying that their jet skill won't get them a real job. Bashing on modders by saying their modded billions won't get them a girlfriend. Bashing on people who start fights in freeroam by saying if they tried that in real life they'd get their head punched in... etc. etc. etc.

This... ridiculous implication that the game ties to real life in some way.

No, their "skill" won't impress a girlfriend or a future employer. Will your "skill" in Heists and missions? Quite probably not. I don't know any people personally who play GTA to impress a girl or to pretty up their résumé.

It takes 240 hours to learn playing the guitar. And this is a kind of skill that:

A. Makes you money.

B. Impresses the girls.

C. Developes your personality.

How many hours have you sunk into GTAO?

One thing that GTAO can teach you is cooperating with other human beings at completing certain tasks.

And cooperation is this kind of skill (in international companies/corporations) that is guarantee to earn you money and recognition from your superiors.

I know I'm talking to a kid that doesn't bother himself with his/her career.

Keep on playing and gain "skill".

I can 100% guarantee you that I've spent more time in my life playing, practicing, and performing my piano than I have playing GTA:O.

Never learned guitar. I got good at Guitar Hero - absurdly good - and after that it felt almost redundant to learn. Stuck to my piano.

Where exactly? The street corner? There's already a ton of people that are skilled guitarists, only a handful of which actually get payed. My money is on you not being a "payed" musician.

B. Impresses the girls.

I'm sorry, but any girl impressed with guitar playing, is not setting her bar very high. I will gladly allow those women to go about their business, with little worry as to what I'm potentially missing out on...

C. Developes your personality.

Really? And what kind of personality development is being had in those 240 hours by yourself, staring at notes and sheet music, sounding downright terrible, to only make it to bearable, at best?

Depends how impressed we're talking here. I can be impressed by somebody's musical skill without it necessarily meaning anything more.

@Harry, I agree with Vanessa, all opinions on gameplay can fly but its really in bad taste and potshot to comment or assume a gamers real life. Really, it gets old.

I kill everyone I can; as many times as I can .

I love "griefing" aka "winning". I love destroying pvs

And pissing off as many people as possible .

Not much, I like to show some tolerance to aggression. It teaches the angry young kids how to behave. But if they kill me several times I'll go kill them a couple times then go passive or change sessions etc. I'm not there to be angry.

Mostly only in self-defense or during events if needed.

But I tend to go for any bounty available if I'm feeling like it

Depends on my mood. If my real life friend is online it normally turns into a death match between us.

Only if they're boring people.

I've long been against the ultimate reduction in GTAO gameplay: playing with jets in free mode.

I just spent a couple hours entertaining this style of gameplay. It is very boring.

Spawn Hydra/steal Lazer > chase someone else in jet until one of you dies > someone spawns Hydra/jet > off radar > infinite loop

I don't know how people do it. Even if you're winning, it so mind-numbingly boring... circling around... circling around... circling around....

My patience with this game is finally wearing thin. Free mode is the most busy thing besides grinding missions.

I'll probably quit playing again soon.

The only thing that is really exciting are team GTA races, real LTS matches (no vehicles vs. snipers or rockets), and parachuting. But since you can't get people to join these because they are boring, GTAO is boring. Waiting in a lobby for 30 minutes isn't worth it anymore.

Lol

My life doesn't "suck", I don't kill people to make myself feel superior or to feel better about myself. I do it because it's fun. I have over 100 days of playtime, I've played since the game came out. Does that make a difference in my real life? No. If I'm "ruining" someone else's gameplay, they can leave or suck it up. Nobody's forcing them to stay there.

I'm "skilled" at free roam but I can do heists and missions. Hell, I basically lead them all. I don't know who you've been playing with, but all the people I'm friends with who free roam kill all the time don't suck at missions either.

And bitching about a video game definitely won't get you a girlfriend or impress any future employer. Kind of stupid to think that playing a video will have an effect on your real life. I'm in college, have a job, and have a boyfriend. Guess my skill in a video game impresses them all.

Stop being ignorant.

A Right. I made $300 last year in music

B Sure if you want a dirty bar band girl.....yuck (there are exceptions, but rare)

C I'm still socially fuct

On topic. Yes I do. Unless you identify yourself as friendly I will fire on sight.

100 days of playtime???

Good grief, how fat and pale are you?

Take your fat pasty ass outside and get some sun and exercise. No one wants to hear you complaining in 6 months about how they had to remove a wall and use a forklift to get your fat ass off the couch.

No unless someone attacks or people too lazy to go passive when afk. If I don't score a kill including from a respawn it's the triplex acies of bounty, mugger and nercenary. Red dots too, people camping out Pegasus spawn locations. Also people who sound like bullies or pricks or talk too much.

No, I'm a friendly player that just goes to do my own thing, there's no need to ruin anyone else's fun. if anyone kills me, I'll bring revenge to their door step and leave the game with the last kill. No need to stick around after getting the job done.

the bounties I leave alone also, unless they try to kill me or run me down while in Passive Mode.
