Today I got killed in free roam by some dude who saw me driving by and decided to shoot me for no reason(I was completely ignoring him and was simply driving back to my apartment).

 

When I was respawning I went into Passive, got back to my car, used it as cover, left Passive, pulled out my RPG, and blew the f*cker up. Escaped the cops and went back into Passive.

 

Honestly I wish I could avoid getting shot at randomly as much as possible. That sh*t is annoying, especially since I never do it to people. I had a 1.0 K/D ratio and I'm sure its lower now because of these types of things(considering I don't always have the chance to get a kill back).

On the down side - I found out BS still exists.

 

On the plus side - it's f*cking brilliant again.

badsport room is a beautiful place i have been out for a few weeks now and i am starting to miss it....it is my home!!

I just drive and pick up people and try to impress them.

I really love the driving in this game, it's just fun for me. Almost as much as forza.

Do you have Horizon 2 for the Xbox One?

Also my K/D is 0.38 :/ = 'Cause I only start killing someone if they kill me or my friends.

Since the freemodes update, I've had people keep killing the person in first place, and if it changes to a different person, that other person gets killed. I know because I was one of those people who was getting killed while in first place for about a minute and a half.

I wish animals spawned in online, I'd love to go out hunting!

I don't go into a lobby in GTA Online expecting every one to adopt a 'friendly' approach, and maybe it's this opinion that has the biggest impact on how I choose to play. I am wary of almost everyone I come across if they are not among my crew/friends.

 

I often only get into fights with people of a similar level as me, and I don't find any sort of gratification from picking on low level players only, but in general I've found that 'being nice' gets you absolutely nowhere on GTA. So yeah, I kill people.

 

Most players have an 'I must kill everyone psyche' that's pretty difficult to break so I think it's an unrealistic expectation to come into a lobby in a game of this nature expecting it to be all rainbows and butterflies.

I always shoot afk players. How hard is it to go in passive? This is kill or be killed. Normally coloured dots and annoying players. Depends on the lobby.

@LP, reverse drive by shooting, (driving past and being shot by someone on foot) who would have thought, esp in a criminal game, egads ! This doesn't happen in like Chicago every weekend, How dare they incorporate this ability in a game.

 

I never drive by players unless Im full speed in a super car or using boost on one of my bikes, (lector or vindicator) It just takes a wee more effort to take another street, but alas, that's effort.

With the new events I'm starting to, only in self defense wich is all the time when I'm not in passive mode so yes but no.

I rarely shoot first. I am usually in a public lobby because i just logged on so I getting snacks, armor and maybe playing with cars a bit. If you see me with some crew members that is another story. I am easily caught up in the murder spree. I am still kind of new to CG, in OG passive just meant you had to be clever to kill them. Now, you might as well just leave them alone. The lack of structure to FR battle makes it meh as well. Having a good sniper fight, start winning and now they're using the rpg. Sure, do whatever it takes to win, I get that. I don't have to participate. They wanna play the passive till I am not looking. No sweat, I go passive as well and go to my apt and take a break IRL. It's a tool and part of the game just like BP helmets, BP Kurumas and cheaters. If I was PM at R*, I would remove the map. Crooks don't know where other crooks are and they don't have chevrons over their heads with their names. So much of this game has been pussified that getting on here and acting like a badass is hilarious. Like you are king of the playground swingset.

 

If I had known how many CG godmode cheaters there were I maybe would not have upgraded. At least in OG, modders blowing up lobby was worst it got. And you had all those begging children to murder, which was delicious.

 

Many opinions in this thread and they are just that, opinions. Arguing those make as much sense as using logic with a liberal.

Not usually. If I feel some player vs player action, I join a public lobby and wait for them to come to me. The other day the sniper challenge popped up. I was on top of a building and spotted someone falling helplessly from a helicopter. Figured they were going to die anyways because they didn't appear to have a chute. So I sniped them and won the challenge but I felt bad..I'm wondering if I have the correct mindset for this game. I can't even bring myself to rob stores for a little extra cash. #nicegirlissues

I seldom bother attacking people unless they have a bounty or my friend wants to do it. By myself, I mind my own business. However, I get attacked frequently in freeroam so yeah, I'm a passive timebomb. Set me off and I'll just keep going.

It really depends on my mood, and what's happening in the lobby. For the most part, if you don't bother me, I wont bother you.

 

I'm a driver, not a fighter :p

 

I prefer just cruising around and stunting more than anything. I do love a good chase, though.

Agree I don't give a sh*t about my kd at all i don't even like Kraft dinner either. Mines .75 but if it said .11 I wouldn't care.. I'm with ^ that guy I'm a driver mainly
