You can do that with the Vigilante too, only from a few spots though. Oppressor isn't usable on time trials unfortunately (or fortunately - it would make most of them comically easy).

 

Anyway I crushed this today using, what else, the Vigilante. Bring on next week's trial and another easy 50k!

Done on my second attempt on my 2013 801, first one f*cked by traffic by less than half a second. Second run also f*cked, but salvageable.

Hiiya,

 

Not the greatest run and actually first attempt jumping that spot (over alamo sea), been struggling to find the most optimal path the other day and started from scratch today. Improved almost 8 sec over my old vigi time, goal achieved!

 

I'm fairly sure that there'd be a faster path going completely straight towards cp, but the horrible bumps and jumps made me go away from that...  Hoping to see a sub 1.20 or maybe even 1.15, depeing on paths who knows what's possible!

I managed to get past a few of this but this time trail is just f*cking bullsh*t and got me pissed off in annoyance.     Though I was going a different way then in videos that was shown here.    But at this point I'm beyond willing to try it again. lol      Easy 50k my ass, next time I see a youtube say that I'm responding with "like hell it is", well at least with this time trail anyway.     Other ones have been passable enough.

 

A shame you can't use the rocket bikes on these, but no of course Rockstar thought of people doing that. lol

 

My favorite time trail is the one that starts in Sandy Shores close to the cocaine lockup.   Get the aqua bike, float across the pond, 50k.    That one is epic. 😀

Yea but it ccan't even fly, it just kinda glides for a bit.      Most certainly should be counted as a bike. lol

Bikes were used by a majority of people when the time trials came out. Instant accelerating with the boost and going over any obstacles with a flying bike wouldn't be fun... If they somehow allowed the oppressor, they wouldn't give you the $50k.

After countless restarts I did it in 2:00 with the trusty Hakuchou Drag.

After failing the GPS route (by more than 5 seconds on my best tries), I tried offroad with kamacho, did go very well.

Did it in 1:58 I like the newer tt better, much larger amount of viable vehicles .

Finally got this one in 4 tries.    My two Bati 801 runs failed, I then switched to the Drag and got it in two tries... Just barely. lol

@ACR I managed to do it with the DR1 as discussed.

 

 

Damage is from crashing into the destination marker. I actually forgot if losing body parts makes the car go faster.

I lost around 2 hours trying to complete it with DR1 and Nero custom, gave up and done it on first try with hakochu drag. This is one of the hardest trials at least for me, not worse than down the chilliad but it's close. It's given that majority of them are way easier to do with bike, they should design them wit other classes in mind, so timer itself would adjust depending on the used class, but it is what it is...

Did you try going down Joshua Road the entire way? I just gave it another try with the 811 and got a 1:57:279. That route is just driving straight for about a minute of the time trial.

I tried cuting through sandy airport, but it's too bumpy so car ends up spinning or loosing traction far too many times, tried driving on the road but even with max speed i was 1-2 sec short. I might try it again, it's doable but any small mistake is gonna result in failure.

After beating this one a few times in the past with many failures each go, this week I nailed it on the very first attempt. I must finally be getting better at time trials. I'll know I've truly arrived when I can beat Down Chilliad without six hours of cursing.

@SummerFreeze I finally managed to do it with DR1 in 2:02 and something, but it was only possible with bare chassis, because with all parts top speed is 119, but while naked it's 128, so i doubt it is even possible if OW is intact. Had to cut between 2 trees on approaching Joshua road to shave off couple of seconds. I think next time trial will be easier with OWs because there are some  corners where great traction could make significant difference.
