Time Trial #2: Observatory to Mackenzie Airfield

These are the worst. The "you'll-do-it-on-a-bike-or-you-won't-do-it-at-all" Time Trials. Yes I know people have done it in a Banshee and a Brawler, but like with the rest of them, the time limit is clearly geared towards bikes.

 

 

 

 

Le sigh. I also tried to offroad it in a Tropos and that went about as well as could be expected. TT's should have variable time limits based on what class of land vehicle you enter them in.

I tried it too, I'm 1 second off the Par Time... It just lacks a bit of speed, it can beat the par time, it just can't beat Brawler and if it beats par time it will be by 00.xxx seconds probably.

Nah, You can just do it normaly with a motorcycle(Gargoyle) as seen below or as Oleg keeps showing, You don't need a glitched out car, Just the brawler.

I'm getting bored of the time trials now, but it's an easy $50K when the stunt physics are applied and you can crash repeatedly and just keep going. It's basically a free $1,000,000 over the remaining time trials, for just a few minutes work each week. Hopefully that'll be a good enough reason for them to fix it.

Managed a 2:01.15x on the BF400 but I'm sure sub 2 mins is possible so holding off on a vid for now.

Oh, easily. I've tried to beat this goddamn Time Trial on my BF400 countless times to no avail, because I always made some stupid mistake. But this one time I've managed perfect run and arrived at the airfield to do something like 1:57, I guess. I wanted to finally complete it though, so I safely drove around the fence and waited few seconds until 2 minutes passed, in order to get another 1k more (I'm starving for cash )

 

With good route, wheeling and speed bumps I think BF400 can do it faster than 1:55.

Can't wait for the Sawmill time trial since it gives you 15+ seconds of extra time to complete it. If I can do it in an Osiris, RE-7B gonna get easy 30 seconds ahead of par time.

 

And 21 out of the 22 I competed, none of them were possible for me without doing a wheelie on a bike, Sawmill is the only exception.

 

It felt more like breaking the game for each one than actually focusing on getting a good time.

Is stunt mode in free roam still a thing? The BF400 should monster it if so. Or the Gargoyle.

 

I tried yesterday a few times but fell off my Garg every time.

 

I didn't see this when I posted above.

 

It's hit and miss and I seem to have it enabled less than it used to be (thankfully), but I had it enabled for this time trial and I crashed all over the place but still did it quite easily. That was on a Gargoyle so the BF400 would have no problem either.

Broke 1:40. Still not fast enough! Ha.

 

While the RE-7B in both configurations has totally ruined super class racing for my crew, it has been super fun running it in these time trials. Any bit of highway between the start and finish just allows the 7B to clean up. Basically me with this car though:

Aha Jesus... I have a 1:38.xxx I managed the other night. The only way I can get these times is to lower graphical settings and then pan the camera to the ground to generate frames up in the 115+ range. Only equipped with a single 970 so I can't generate all that much with a full normal field of view.

 

It's good that were doing this though because maybe, just maybe Rockstar will go "wow this is really an issue on PC" and they'll do something about it. This and shredding people apart in stunt and premium races, lol.
