IlIIlIlIIlIlIIlI 79
When I press D-Pad down (PS4) in single player, it no longer brings up the character selection screen since this last update. It just shows me the controls to start recording or do action replay. The controls screen still shows D-Pad down as being the character selection control. This is keeping me from switching between Franklin, Michael, Trevor, and online. Is this a known bug and if so, is there a workaround? Edit: Yes I have tried what was suggested in the bug thread, this is a different problem, that was an older one. Calling all contacts, going to GTAO, etc doesn't work. Niceringsting 0
Exact same problem for me. Doesn't even seem to be an option to turn off/re map the editor
IlIIlIlIIlIlIIlI 79
You'd think more people would be complaining about this since when you have this glitch, SP is essentially impossible to play. I'm stuck on Franklin when the only mission he has available is assasinations, which I'm saving. So basically, locked out of SP.

I’m having the same issue now and it’s making me crazyyyy thank you! I was able to figure it out! I don't know what worked but I tried plugging in my controller directly into the PS4 and went back to try and switch characters. I pressed the D pad down and instead on just rolling the the toggle stick slowly I kind of rolled it around aggressively and then let go of the D pad and it switched characters and I was able to shoot the security guard. Idk if it was the combo of me rolling the toggle stick and being plugged in, or just being plugged in, or just the toggle stick. I literally just figured it out as I was reading this forum so I figured I'd let you know and hopefully this helps someone else too! ChasingCoyote 1,813
I had/having the same problem, but I think I've figured it out. seems if you hold Lalt, hit F6 (for Franklin, F5 for Michael, F7 for Trevor, then release Lalt you should be able to switch easily. it does seem a complicated procedure for what should be a simple mechanic. (I don't have a console controller, just keyboard and mouse (I'm using PC). so couldn't try the previous solution. Edited May 19, 2020 by ChasingCoyote
