I read the bulletin concerning the new update today. when I got to the section detail the improvements to the creator rockstar went into detail about the improved prop stacking feature. that wasn't the part that erked me. it was and I will paraphrase rockstar " FOR YOUR CRAZY RAMPS AND BRILLIANT PARKOUR JOBS." briiliant? BRILLIANT?!?! I can't believe rockstar is encourageing trap jobs and that crap isn't parkour that's " let me randomly stack a bunch of sh*t sky high and place the weapons in a way only I would know how to get to them. you guys are right rockstar is catering to the casual gamers and the wee ones. I plan to report every one of these jobs I come across until this bullsh*t is brought to a halt.

They're catering to what is played a lot, admitting that the trolls are everywhere and run the show. Also there ARE some legit parkour maps I've seen, pretty genius stuff honestly but to your point, most of it is K/D boosting nonsense.

 

Unfortunately reporting trap games doesn't work. You just have to jump out of the game and move on.

@LL COOL J yeah I play custom races I made a few my self. I don't like the ones with ramps that go all over the place like some 5yr old on lsd was trying to recreate his favorite hot wheels playset. its those damn parkour jobs that i'm railing against.

nothing new man, rockstar likes to troll. i learned that since gta4 online, was playing against a rockstar dev/employee he was using all kind of exploits and godmode. when i finally killed him, i unlocked the "let sleeping rockstars lie" achievement, so i knew he was a dev/employee. its no different in 5. when it comes to trolling other players, they dont fix anything (wall breaches, god mode etc) but glitching a few cars to keep/make some good cash gets fixed asap. its clearly all about money. just quit the job, but having a user submitted content filter would be nice. rockstar follows the money, sadly those 3,000,000 rp 3,000,000 $ get alot of plays and have alot of dumbasses joining them, go figure.

It seems that an actual proper race is no longer the way forward. I fully expect the next batch of Verified jobs to be SNIPERS VS STUNTERS, ROCKETS VS INSURGENTS, STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN v74, EPIC STUNTS ESPANOL, and $10000000000 + 100000000000RP GLITCH HACK.

Oh relax. There have been tons of GREAT jobs created by stacking props. Just because there's also a lot of sh*t ones doesn't mean we shouldn't enable the creative people to make the good ones.

hey smart ass did you read my original post or did you skim through it? I have no problem with stacking. I used empty trailers in one of my jobs to make a suspension bridge across two islands. its when idiots abuse it with that "parkour" sh*t that erks me. you're probably one of the dopes that makes these kind of jobs. reading is fundamental Sherlock.

There are many great stunt races and parkour deathmatches out there. Rockstar is making it easier to produce them. They are in no way saying "Hey guys! Create spawn trap K/D boost maps!".

Adding the stacking, rotating, yaw, etc options was the best thing they did to the creator. They even made rotating props slower for precise allignment. +1 for Rockstar.

Wasted potential. The game was initially great, and still play it for that reason, and could have been much greater, but clearly micro-transactions are making R*/Take Two execs drive this once great franchise into a slow and inevitable descent into crappiness, like other games that embraced micro-transactions.
