I brought a PS4 today, pre-owned from a shop, and when i set it up to connect online an error message popped up saying the console has been banned. Is there anyway to contact Sony to get it unbanned, or?

Take it back to the shop...There is no way to get it unbanned and make sure to tell the shop clerks about the console being banned so they won't re-sell it

 

That's the problem with shops they re-sell used consoles they only check to make sure the console works and everything but they don't check to see if there are any issues such as the console being banned or anything
