What if they have been working on SF and LV since release?

Let's see. That's about 10-15 square miles of extensive detail and that's just the cities themselves. With the countryside, I'm sure it's damn near 60. I'm highly certain that they'd save all of that effort for a completely new game.

We're never getting SF and/or LV as DLCs. You can hang it up, it's never going to happen.

I wouldn't exactly call it impossible but rather highly unlikely to be used for DLC but hey you never know.LC makes the most sense.

Oh also @MGgames100 that updated map of North Yankton is a nice find!

Las Venturas to me seems a natural progression to the high class criminal they've turned our online characters into, but I agree it's a lot of work for DLC.

LC would be a waste of resources. I doubt we'll get any map expansions at all, it'll be more content within this one.

A Jetpack in GTA SA was said to cost 60 million dollars, I can only imagine what it would cost in GTA Online...

$60 million/ $700-800 for the legendary jetpack sounds like a bargain to me.

I would buy it.

Just do it, R*.

I'd much rather have Ludendorff instead of Las Venturas, San Fierro or Liberty City.

Woodchopping simulator?

Meh. So we can by modest single-family homes as safehouses and race on straight and boring farm roads with small four way intersections every mile or so?

Urustay Gordov Matt D.

The jetpack would be silly yeah, but surely we've already passed that point anyway? I mean, there are fighter jets everywhere, super cars, people turning into beasts, etc.

It would probably be used by everyone though, that much is true. Still, they could make it a little harder to get hold of. Maybe a Pegasus vehicle. Plus if the jetpack can easily be destroyed, then that's all it would take to get someone out of their jetpack.

Just seems like a shame to miss out on yet another thing from San Andreas.

Jetpack with aimable explosive guns would be a sick idea, plus more chances to dodge homing rockets

'tis the dream...

But seriously...trade 3 major cities and the possible landscape in between them, for a frozen strip of road and some farm land? lol

I don't get it Cam. What are you gonna do there? Rob the one liquor store in town over and over?

^ We'll all buy large two stories and Rocotos and go shop at The Grain of Truth. Live that upper middle class life.

Honestly, North Yankton would be the idle and perfect GTA V SP DLC expansion map. its small and has history involving the characters, whether I would prefer it to the other cities is a different matter. that photo above with the different NY maps is making me very suspicious. It almost proves that they are willing to add it in. Why else would they create the 'unnecessary parts of the map'?

Can't wait for the very in-depth ranch management system and new exciting random events like Sovereign Citizen standoffs.

Gonna paint my barn chrome.

More heists, more contact missions, more cars to mod in Benny's, CASINO.

Couldn't give a f*ck about anything else. The Division and Mafia 3 are looming large on the horizon and looking very tempting. Do something to keep me playing Rockstar!

Who said there couldn't be anything besides farm land? There's a small town on the map somewhere I think. So one small town the size of paleto bay? And the entire rest of the map being pretty much snow, grass, trees and bales of hay? It just seems pretty underwhelming compared to the hustle and bustle of the streets...

I honestly want to hear your ideas on what would make ludendorf interesting.

Well we can only wait and see - personally I think LV and SF are as likely as LC. VC would also be great.

If they're going to go to enough effort to put in LC, then I'd imagine they'd be ditching the whole lazy approach to things. GTA IV might be newish, but it still doesn't mean it would be a piece of cake to put LC in either.

I'm cool with any new map though.

For the love of Chris Fromage, GTA 6 better not be Vice City just because of this:

GTA: VI(ce city)

My opinions of R* will reach an all time low if that happens (and it's not too far from that ATM).

I kinda agree with that. Today's Miami doesn't compare to 80's Miami.

It wont be called that. But VI WILL most likely be set there seeing as it's the only location left to make in the HD universe if the aren't going to add SF and LV, and i highly doubt they will at this point..

Don't know man, so far it's been two for two out of the last two major GTA releases. If we get any dlc, I bet it most definitely will have a roman numeral.

For as long as it is somehow related to GTA. it is all good. 440 pages haven't been just about 2 or 3 DLCs.

This is what happens when you bring up LV/SF. That's why I'm always like "it ain't gonna happen" because it ain't.

Speaking of a casino...why not use Job Points?

Job points are warned thrush regular play, so have them be transferable into Chips. Chips allow you to utilize the casino's venues, allowing player the chance to win more Money Chips. Going out, Money Chips can be cashed in, with each chip 100 GTA $. This cuts out the legal problem and motivates people to play the game beyond Free Roam, and gives everyone the casino. Ofc winning big is gonna be rare...but hey, that's Vegas.

I thought this was a Future DLC discussion, not a sequel discussion

Every topic eventually deviates from the OP's first post in one way or another. While the deviation is not as severe as others, talking about "the Future", whether it be about a sequel or not, still stays on topic with the original post with a slight deviation. It's also partially my fault because I resurrected the whole "VI may be Vice City" comment.

OFT, I can see R* doing LV and SF just because it gives them yet another "project" to work on. While R*'s main goal is to one day make "GTA: USA", it's going to be a while and they need to make sure they iron out as many problems as they can (GTA: O being a learning curve for them ATM). What better way for them to practice than to continue with the unofficial "trilogy" and recreate San Fierro and Las Ventauras in an HD rendition? While Vice City should be the next step, it just seems too predictable for R* to do. Plus, to end this, GTA is R* and TTwo's "bread and butter", so you damn well better believe they want to "milk" the series for as much as they can.

OT, Seeing as R* are mostly story driven, I predict the next DLC to expand SP or add some more "depth" to Online. Can't really say exactly what to expect here, so I'm just going to have to resort to a "cookie cutter" type answer. I already gave my answer before, but with every patch and update makes me drift further and further away from the idea that R* will ever add anything to this game that encourages law enforcement. I'd settle for an enhanced version of Cops vs. Crooks at this point. The sheer absence or eradication of anything having to do with supporting or encouraging law enforcement baffles me seeing as this is, after all, a sandbox game by default.

I didn't realize you could see into the future. Can you tell me the lotto numbers for next week then? :catspider:

Do the casino up right and let us have some new missions, not a heist, centered around it. Make them level 70-80 and really fun, ffs. The game's too dull otherwise.
