agree with everything but the 3 protagonists... they have to ditch that model.

 

in my book, focusing on 3 protags is the reason why V story mode is so weak. i'd rather have them focus on a single character and fully develop the character and the story than have them do multiple underdeveloped characters with a weak story.

 

I kind of agree. But I'd really like to see a GTA story with a playable female character. You can either do that with multiple characters (I think two, one male and one female, could work) or as a DLC.

or like gtao, they could allow us to play the story as a male or female.

 

Personally I wouldn't like that. I'd rather see the story through someone else's eyes. I like exploring characters like Michael, Niko, Trevor and Franklin. Building our own just wouldn't be the same.

Except it would still be seeing the world through someone else's eyes. Being able to choose the Bosses gender/voice in Saints Row or Shepherds gender in Mass Effect isn't the same as creating a blank slat character such as the ones in GTA:Online or Elder Scrolls/Fallout.

 

You could view it as "what if" the protagonist was female instead of male or male instead of female. For example, what if you could choose between Micheal and Amanda and doing so would change their roles/personalities? Chossing Amanda makes her the former bank robber, going to thearpy sessions due to family problems, cheating on her husband with male strippers/prostitutes with a similar personality type to Micheal so current one. Michael is then the former male stripper/prostitute that Amanda married, upset for having to go into hiding, who is cheating on her behind her back with his personal instructors/kids tutors and has a personality type similar to Amanda's current one. This then creates a new dynamic between Amanda, Franklin, and Trevor and causes other ripples in the game. Instead of a male tennis coach/yoga instructor, there'd be a female tennis coach/yoga instructor. You'd still be seeing the world through the characters eyes, and not playing as a blank slate.

Probably almost any major new feature they add will come to Online too, if they can find a way to do it without breaking things. Chill out, man. R* has clearly prioritized Online well beyond single player, they're not going to let it languish anytime soon.

There better be valet parking because I don't want to "accidentally" gamble all of my cash away then find out some knob bombed my car but I can't pay the mechanic or taxi driver so I gotta hitch hike. Valet parking is a must. Put all them cars in a special player proof spot when you die if you try to enter it.

regardless of the chosen ending more heist in sp make no sense, after all they had pulled the biggest heist in los santos history with the union depository heist.

If the Casino ever comes to Online, you can bet there will be a multitude of limits on the amount of money changing hands.

 

Get on a hot streak? Here comes the Pit Boss to throw you out after 50k or whatever. You're then locked out for 12 hours or something (think VIP timer).

 

Want to throw down a million bucks on a hand of Blackjack, Mr. High Roller? Well sorry, we have a betting limit of 2500 per hand.

 

I actually think limits like these would be good. Can it be a regular source of income like jobs? Maybe...more like daily objectives I think. Go play for a bit and maybe you win some money, but you aren't getting rich overnight because there will be a ceiling on your winnings.

 

Likewise, I don't think anyone will go broke from it either. There will probably be limits to how much you can lose in a session as well, so kids don't gamble away all of their money. (Keep in mind for some people it's actually partially real money due to shark cards)

 

TLDR: If the Casino happens, it won't be a place you spend all day. It will be closer to an activity that you would do periodically because of limits imposed by R*.

 

Note: My speculation only applies to Online. In single player it would probably be anything goes with a lot less restriction.

They could make it so that you can only access high risk/reward minigames if you're a VIP or something, that would be cool. As long as the whole casino isn't limited to VIPs only.

Of course it won't there's other things inside the stadium, rooms corridors, fame or shame is hosted there, mike n trev mission, but my bet is if they add it it would be a load into just that stunt area nothing else... Id be surprised if we got a complete interior

The BIG question is now .. It would be a fail if we drive with our cars to the casino, go into the casino and than we have to go in a extra session like the other activities lol ..
