IMO that AK47u is a waste of resources. They just shorten stock and barrel and put some wood on it and bam! "New rifle"! Instead wasting space on that, they should start bringing back GTA IV (and EFLC) weapons (and vehicles)

Rockstar can't use actual guns anymore. They design their weapons just like their vehicles. They mash multiple items to create one. You won't see an M4 replica, or a DSR sniper rifle, or a Striker for that matter. I honestly wished they didn't change that.

But these are from GTA IV (and EFLC)... They aren't 100% same as RL counterparts... They can be easily in GTA V... It wouldn't matter anyways, they've all been replaced by Rockstars creations. AA12=Assault Shotgun, M4=Carbine Rifle, DSR=Heavy Sniper, MP5=SMG. Also from my view, those are very close to their IRL counterparts. Look at the PSG-1 sniper rifle, or the AA-12 even the DSR, M4, Striker, M1911, Automag pistol and the MP5. They look very similar to real life weapons, which Rockstar probably didn't want to pay licenses and royalties for anymore, so to save money, they made their own weapons. • Heavy Shotgun (Seiga 12K)
• Carbine Rifle (HK416)
• Special Carbine (G36C)
• Bullpup Carbine (95% of QBZ-95-1)
• Sweeper (carbon copy of Thompson)
• Sniper Rifle (Arctic Warfare Super Magnum)
• RPG (RPG-7)
• Granade Luncher (100% same as MGL)

Because they are too close to they RL counterparts... Yet they are in the game without a problem... Pretty sure that M4 was copied so many times in games, without permission that they don't care anymore...

They should have just ported all of the Max Payne 3 weapons. Most of the Airsoft sh*t they modelled looks utterly embarrasing.

 

DLC weapons since Ill-Gotten Gains Pt.1 have been pretty good though.

I dont know as much as you guys about guns (i know the basics) but they seem to be really similar with only minimal differences. which the same can be said for all things R* have added since IGG1. They have really put in a lot of detail into IRL comparison on things like guns, cars, clothes ect.

Yeh I think the Casino could very well be 'coming sooner' this year. I think it will feature in Story DLC first and then form part of an updated GTAO once that comes out.

I would want Casinos too, but it most likely will never happen. Why? Law of some countries... Gambling is ether very tax heavy, some games are banned (e.g. Poland - Poker for real money) or it's banned all together (e.g. Brazil)... This places R* in very uncomfortable position. If Casinos will be back, they will be most likely SP only...

 

 

You do realize that if THIS were the case... then the game itself wouldn't be allowed in those countries already. You can already spend real money in the game on things that can be used to either gain money or lose money.

 

For example: You can buy a shark card, spend it on ammunition, and then use this ammunition to help you win a deathmatch. If you lose.. you just wasted your money, if you win, you just gained a little bit more.

 

 

 

Thus.. gambling already exists. That's just a basic example, but essentially it's the same thing as just walking into an ingame casino and playing the lottery...

Exactly, so argument "they can't put them, cuz they are too close to RL" is BS... I said that they changed how they made their weapons from IV. Which I don't like either. Reason for that is unknown. Weapons in IV were either near replicas or exact real life ones. Rockstar has now designed their weapons in GTA V that are mashed up from multiple weapons in real life, unlike IV. Which I'm sure they paid licenses for. They've changed that in V. To either avoid paying or just to make their very own weapons. Yes the changes are small, but they are small enough to not look exactly like the real thing. Look at the handguard of the G36 and Special Carbine I posted. They are similar but not exact. The special carbines handguard is much longer, it's pistol grip is different, as well as the stock, mag, and iron sights.
