What are you expecting in January?
So when is everyone expecting the Lowriders 2 DLC to drop?

I think we will have a A&A around mid January and nothing else. the A&A could showcase the LR2 DLC like fun said. but may answer questions about Future DLCs, issues and the usual. I expect Lowriders 2 to be released somewhere near 10th Feb - 14th Feb (Valentines day if they are planning to put the 2 dlcs together.) .These are just guesses.

Yeah, as far as I know, it's almost guarantee. But a certain date is unknown.

I think more like 3rd-4th Feb, so people actually spend money on lowriders, and then while no one has money Valentine's Day Update rolls out. And announcement few days before (5-10 days), maybe merged with A&A.

Lowriders on either the 2nd or the 9th, because updates almost always drop on Tuesdays - whether we get a trailer or Newswire post a week-or-so before, or nothing but crickets, is up to R*.

Valentine's Day Redux, if it's indeed coming at all*, will probably be on Friday 12th, in time for the 14th. Not sure how long it'll be around, although I suspect at least a week, based on things like the Halloween Surprise.


*hopefully - ideally with all the old stuff, plus some new items as well. In which case, I wonder if R* will carry on with the 'Valentine's Day Massacre' theme, or a more generic V-day/romance approach.

Fun found a few vehicles in iFruit files, he found dash values of vehicles and weapons. What more could you possibly need to see that it's legit?

Lowriders are all but confirmed (I mean, the Slamvan and Sabre Turbo variants are from the same leak as all the legit Executives vehicles), as are the two new weapons (and, presumably, the new quickplay actions), and while there's less solid evidence for the V-day stuff, it was added to the tunables shortly before the Independence Day stuff got re-released over the summer, meaning that it can now finally be turned on/off like the other holiday stuff - likewise, R* using the V-day clothing items in the Lowriders mission outfits might be a little tease that it's making a comeback when Feb rolls around.

So yeah - definitely Lowriders 2 in the near future, and quite possibly a V-day 2016 special.

The stats on the Compact Rifle are likely not final, seeing as it was in a beta stage and still is technically. As was shown in that video, only weapon tints could be applied to that weapon and no attatchments existed at the time of the videos creation. It's damage model will likely be remade.

I believe those are going to be the final stats of the CR. It has tints, full models, reloads. It's pretty much done. I'm sure it'll have a scope attachment as it has a picatinny rail above its receiver. A silencer as well is possible. Not sure about a flashlight. Extended mags is also possible.

It's a business after all. Rockstar knows what they are doing. They are targeting a specific audience. I'll just be buying the guns. Not too much into Lowriders although I do appreciate what they brought, deep vehicle customization. If you aren't purchasing any of the vehicles, then you have no need to complain.

Seems to me to fit the best into how they operate these days combined with what we know about so far. If the SP DLC turns out to be real which we will probably be given some clues to in the A&A I wouldn't expect it to be released before April, thats when they released Heists almost a year ago, and it would follow the pattern of releasing a DLC every 2 months ever since they ditched LG.

IMO that AK47u is a waste of resources. They just shorten stock and barrel and put some wood on it and bam! "New rifle"! Instead wasting space on that, they should start bringing back GTA IV (and EFLC) weapons (and vehicles)

 

 

 

 

 

(It doesn't mean that I don't want AK47u, I just think that there are better weapons that would fit )

I think it will feature in Story DLC first and then form part of an updated GTAO once that comes out.I would want Casinos too, but it most likely will never happen. Why? Law of some countries... Gambling is ether very tax heavy, some games are banned (e.g. Poland - Poker for real money) or it's banned all together (e.g. Brazil)... This places R* in very uncomfortable position. If Casinos will be back, they will be most likely SP only...

Yeh that's an interesting point. Happy for it to stay in single player but would love it as an interior for online as well especially that multistory carpark stuck next to it as it reminds me of the one in Vice City....

That wouldn't be a problem since you don't gamble real money in GTAO, you gamble GTA $'s. And before anyone says 'but cash cards are bought with real money', yes they are, but again, they will purchase GTA $, and what happens with GTA $ is not bound by any laws anywhere. Your already allowed to bet in GTA anyways.

This proves my point.

As for betting it's not illegal in Poland (illegal are only games that are not "ramdom"and are not played in spacial casinos), and I don't think it's ether in Brazil (betting in GTA fells under "horse betting"), but keep in mind that prices of games (that includes Cush Cerds) in BR are extremely high, b/c they are considered as a gambling... Also, those two, are only examples. Almost every country has different restrictions about gambling...
