"Classic GTA Cars Update":

 

Infernus Classic: Honda NSX '90

Jester Classic: Toyota Supra '02

Elegy Classic: Skyline R34

ZR-350: Mazda RX-7 '92

Comet Classic: Porsche 911 '90

Sultan Classic: Any Lancer Evo before the "X" (this could also be a "Kuruma Classic", since it resembles more a Lancer Evo.

Flash: Any hatchback, ANY! We need more hot hatches.

 

This would also set foot for a "Tuners DLC".

Classic implies SA cars.

Jester would be a '92 not an '02.

Elegy would be an R32 not an R34.

The Porsche you are talking about is a 911SC Targa, which stopped production in 1982.

The Sultan in SA was based off an Imprezza not a Lancer Evo.

A Kuruma Classic would be a Chrysler 300M, not a Lancer Evo.

And knowing R* they would find a way to screw up the Flash like they did the last time.

 

PLEASE read a book or two on cars before you post.

The Turismo were a Ferrari F40, kinda, it became a F430/360.

The Sultan were an Impreza/Evo mixture, just look the taillights,

The San Andreas Jester resembles much more a Supra '02 instead of a '92. The '92 looks more like the Ruiner.

 

 

 

So, I see no problems in not using the exact same cars they used before to make these new ones, since they've done it plenty of times already...

 

The "Jester" generation of Supras started in December of '92 so that's what I meant by a '92 model year. I think we just got mixed up since I used '92 since SA is set in '92. The term "classic" implies no change, if you dropped the term classic then I can see your viewpoint the additions.

Oh now I see, I misread the Jester part. Anyway, the classic name was just an ideia. Those are just some cars that I like IRL and liked back in GTA San Andreas, and would like to see them make a return.

Add to that list the San Andreas Super GT = Mitsubishi GTO/3000GT. Yeah, there was the Aston Martin-esque Super GT in GTA IV, but that's more-or-less superceded by the Dewbauchee Rapid GT/Exemplar/Massacro nowadays.

If R* added a right-hand drive 'Maibatsu Super GT' that looked a bit like, well, this:




...I'd be an extremely happy camper.

Actually, that is a good point. It would be kinda neat if there were some right hand drive cars added to the game. Not that it really adds any gameplay value, just a lil something new.

 

Edit: My first ever irl street race was against a 3000GT, not a VR4 though. Thanks for that memory. Good times.

Meh I still prefer IV's Super GT to the new Dewbauchees. It looked more like an Aston. The new Dewbauchees just lack something. Plus IV's Super GT was the actual definition of a super grand touring car.

Got thinking about the sort of stuff for a tuner update, and one of the cool things Lowriders added was all that visual custom work for engines. Imagine being able to add visible turbochargers, or mess around with different models of oil coolers, dressup kits, etc. - likewise custom dashboard additions, like digital displays, extra gauges (granted, real-life A-pillar 'gauge trees' are preposterous, but they'd be good for a giggle in GTAO!) - would be great to take a stock engine like this:




...and do it up more like these:

 

Just one thing I really, really, REALLY hope DOESN'T come as part of such an update - particularly if it's the mandatory starting upgrade for tuners (like how it sucks that, in order to access the new decals and interiors for the Buccaneer, you've got to buy ****ing hydraulics for it first...)?

I always thought the the infernus was a diablo... Like a 99' or something. Or any of em right before the mercy came out.

Anyway, I hope we get a tuner DLC. Then again I can see them really ruining the line up, with their choice of car to replicate. So to be safe, i'd prefer bikes. They've had a decent run for bikes thus far.

If we got a tuner pack, I'd love to see the Hakumai make a return. Anybody remember the Albanian Hakumai? All of those mods it had, a spoiler and a kit. Jesus, tuners seem like one of the most wanted for car things right behind lowriders which we just got.

I think I said the same thing 3 or 4 months ago, 2 or 3 classic Pony Mustangs would be great. Shelby style, 67 and 69 plus maybe an 80s variant too.

honestly a tuner/jdm dlc would be pretty great, with some right hand drive vehicles and/or to convert existing vehicles to RHD, as well as options to put alternate "factory parts" on vehicles. also it would be a pretty good time for like, the Vincent and the Hakumai to come back

 

also an offroad dlc where you can jack up the suspension or whatever would be neat, or a slammed dlc where you can do whatever you do with slammed cars and have air suspension

 

also just in general i want a Toyota cabover van with 4x4, seats for 6 and that is competitive with the gang burrito but i dont know what theme that could go with. i guess it could work with an offroad dlc

There's a lot of decisions that just don't make any sense with this game. Nothing new.

There's a lot of decisions that just don't make any sense with this game. Nothing new. Like the decision to close off most interiors in This game (like the police HQ, reason that got closed was because all the 12-year old freemode warriors whined about the fact bounties hide in the police HQ and they couldn't wrap their tiny brains around the fact you can enter though a door). I'm suprised they haven't closed off the underground tunnels (the tunnels from the first heist in story mode) yet seeing as most people still call you a hacker if you hide in them.
