like i always say, V is written in a way that wont make any sense to add more missions for the current character given the fact that even if you suck throughout the story you would still end up a millionaire.

He didn't begin a criminal empire. Nowhere in the end of the game does it imply Franklin will continue heisting and doing crime in general. He's a 26 year old millennial with $30+ million in his account. He's probably gonna eat potato chips and iron clothes in his Vinewood mansion for the rest of his life, until he reaches middle age and becomes like Michael.

Calm down. All I said was GTA V was a disappointment to me. I never said "the game f*cking sucks!" Rockstar has always been my favorite developer, and the first game of theirs I played was Vice City. San Andreas is what really made me love the GTA series.

 

I respect Rockstar for being one of the most ambitious developers in the industry and making some of the best open world games out there, but they focus too much on minute details. The actual gameplay mechanics; cover system, gunplay, and player movement control has always been mediocre. It feels like the game has massive input lag. It's always the driving mechanics and map building they excel at.

 

As for online, I really think it's only fun with friends. I just have trouble seeing how people treat GTAO like it's World of Warcraft or something, it's not like the game's expanded so much in the past two years. It's pretentious to call it an MMO.

 

San Diego was closed like couple years ago due to poor working conditions.

Are you literally pulling this out of your ass? Clearly you don't know your facts. Rockstar San Diego never closed, it's still up and running, probably hard at work on the next Red Dead as we speak. Rockstar Vancouver merged into Rockstar Toronto in 2012, and Rockstar Vienna closed in 2006.

 

R* San Diego is well and alive.

You like Rockstar, that's great, but coming here to try and help the game be better in your eyes isn't the right place to be. Go email Rockstar and tell them what you as the customer would think is the best for the game. Will they listen to one guy? Idk, but if the game bothers you so much, why not try? Go tell them to improve their gameplay mechanics(which I think are the best in the series). Go tell them all your complaints and maybe, just maybe they'll give you their attention. I know the game has issues, and Rockstar works to fix them. My biggest gripe with the game is the cloud servers. Hopefully GTA VI will have dedis instead, it would be a much more enjoyable experience. GTA V is the pinnacle of what GTA is, shooting, killing, car jacking, all out mayhem. You can't get that with past GTA games, hell, you can't get that with any other game. That's why GTA is so successful. It allows players to do whatever they please. I love GTA V, but hated GTA IV, because it took away all those aspects of the core of GTA. GTA IV was a huge bore to me, there was nothing to do. The game was also displeasing to the eye.

How long have you played GTA games? You should know Rockstar takes a few years to create their games, to create a game that is near perfection. Look at the other top AAA games, they'll spend 1-3 years on development only to release a game that should be in beta. A game full of glitches and bugs. I'm glad that Rockstar spends as much time as they do making the game. They pay attention to every detail. If you're so disappointed in GTA V then why do you insist on being here and complaining about the game. Go find another game to play and another game developer to nag at them everyday.

There are simple accesible wall breaches everywhere, the matchmaking is the worst i honestly have seen in any online game and overall some things ingame are realy unbalanced

I was just throwing another speculation into the mix because they were discussing having new protagnists. im sill leaning towards a Franklin only DLC.

The three protagonist didnt even become a team before the events of GTA 5 Singleplayer. GTA Online is a Prequel to Singleplayer. Thus the DLC cant feature the three protagonists as a team.

How so? He's speaking pure truth. Online was barren and extremely unbalanced at launch. It's much, much better now.

It could have an empire building theme, or have Franklin meet up with new characters, or have him work with the FIB/IAA; get him to start his crime syndicate with Madrazo... Franklin isn't only restricted to the Families.

 

But again, even if R* releases an SP DLC, it will be only played for like seven months and then forgotten, with majority of the players switching back to GTA:Online or playing other games.

Seven months is a lot of time for a DLC, so that is a good thing. there are people who still play GTA V's single player after more than 2 years of release

A bird told me, the LC DLC will be a paid SP & add LC map to Online. It will feature Niko Bellic, Packie McReary & Luis Lopez as protags.
