They barely refined sh*t in the past two years. Don't count on them to start now.

You know the game is what I would call stable software on ps4 now.(as of a couple months ago). Took two years and many many things have been nerfed, many more remain broken/glitched(crew colours and crew base coat textures etc). Other changes have ruined the flow of the game, like pegasus despawns, breaking the playlistable non contact missions and the awesome way the pegasus gear continuing on worked(almost perfectly). Overall the game was a lot more fun originally, but it is stable software now.

whats the incentive for mike, trevor and franklin to go to LC though?

V is written in a way that makes no sense to add more missions for the current characters.

TLAD boring? wow

Personally enjoyed this DLC story a lot, while it didn't have some of the cool stuff that was added in TBOGT still enjoyed it a lot because of the theme.

 

Also a solo Franklin story may be a way to make Franklin more interesting.

No, they don't need to focus on Franklin. All the "we need more gangster missions!" should have been in the game in the first place. A story DLC shouldn't dedicate itself to fulfilling something San Andreas was able to flesh out a decade ago.

 

It should focus on the trio altogether, assuming option c is canon. But why speculate when the only thing we can realistically expect is another sh*tty online update.

Franklin was boring because R* made him a side character compared to Trevor and Michael.

Because in doing so, they help keep interest in the 2 year old game, and we as gamers get a new experience for less money than the cost of a full time AAA Title.

 

I've said it before, look at the Sims, a new full game only comes along after a good few years and expansion packs, costing a lot less than a full game, come out to keep people interested. More games companies should do this as it works out better for both them (retaining players, more likely to spend smaller amounts over time than big amounts, and also timescales the work load) and better for us

Agreed. My God, they're the slowest, most inefficient AAA developer considering they have like 7 studios with a couple hundred staff each. I forget Rockstar San Diego even exists half the time, somehow they haven't announced a game in the past six years.

I hope they don't go all Valve on us and sit on their banknote while online does all the profiting for them. I also hope the new Red Dead doesn't end up being a disappointment to me like GTA V was.

How long have you played GTA games? You should know Rockstar takes a few years to create their games, to create a game that is near perfection. Look at the other top AAA games, they'll spend 1-3 years on development only to release a game that should be in beta. A game full of glitches and bugs. I'm glad that Rockstar spends as much time as they do making the game. They pay attention to every detail. If you're so disappointed in GTA V then why do you insist on being here and complaining about the game. Go find another game to play and another game developer to nag at them everyday. Calm down. All I said was GTA V was a disappointment to me. I never said "the game f*cking sucks!" Rockstar has always been my favorite developer, and the first game of theirs I played was Vice City. San Andreas is what really made me love the GTA series.

 

I respect Rockstar for being one of the most ambitious developers in the industry and making some of the best open world games out there, but they focus too much on minute details. The actual gameplay mechanics; cover system, gunplay, and player movement control has always been mediocre. It feels like the game has massive input lag. It's always the driving mechanics and map building they excel at.

 

As for online, I really think it's only fun with friends. I just have trouble seeing how people treat GTAO like it's World of Warcraft or something, it's not like the game's expanded so much in the past two years. It's pretentious to call it an MMO.

Are you literally pulling this out of your ass? Clearly you don't know your facts. Rockstar San Diego never closed, it's still up and running, probably hard at work on the next Red Dead as we speak. Rockstar Vancouver merged into Rockstar Toronto in 2012, and Rockstar Vienna closed in 2006.

 

R* San Diego is well and alive.

Do you really have nothing better to do than continually post negative stuff about a game you don't like? How about go post somewhere about games you do like? Or go do something else entirely?
