I haven't heard anything about a "hotel" spawn location. What is that about?

when you first get into gtao, before you buy a apartment, your default spawn location is at the "hotel"...

 

you spawn on the sidewalk with bums all over the place.

Heard of it before, think it was something for players who don't have a safehouse or garage yet.Think somebody else may have mentioned before that it could be used for LC aswell.

Some one that isn't Dragoon that found E&OC 4-5 months before it came out yet it was never leaked publicly. I wonder why Fun speculated about Dragoon leaking but not the unknown leaker. Fun said we'll see next week if LC DLC is legit or not. We just have to wait I guess. I can only tell you one thing, with two years of near constant updates, I'm really excited to see what Rockstar has planned for us in the future. Really really excited.

Right because I loved racing down those long straight streets in Algonquin and evading trolls in between thw skyscrapers with helicopters, now with planes, I can just up the antics and it would make evading trolls and dogfights more fun imo

 

Wrong because Upstate Liberty might not be apart of it, I dont think we've ever seen Upstate Liberty, but just a small concrete city would get boring at times without people to interact with

with 200 countries in the world, I think it's unlikely they won't make a game outside the United States

Then Rockstar won't be able to make their snarky commentary about american culture which gives about 90% of the game's charm.

Actually, here's something. Rockstar DID have the idea to develop, especially GTA, outside of the US. They've registered a couple trademarks back in the early 2000s hinting at locations. I remember seeing Grand Theft Auto Bogota, and Grand Theft Auto Tokyo. Again, in my opinion, Rockstar are masterminds of the open-world madness. Locations won't matter to them.

R* have already publicly states that GTA is an "American themed" game, and that they have no plans for doing anymore locations outside of the US.

Those trademarks are just-in-case deals, and a cheap way to keep some buzz going about what their future plans might be. I don't think they've ever devoted any real time to developing GTA games in those locations.

The next DLC simply needs to expand and refine existing elements of that game that already carry truly great potential. An update with 6 new Bennys cars and a mode of criminal enterprise building/expansion based off the VIP concept would be FANTASTIC.
