Future DLC Discussion Thread

Wow, imagine if GTA V and its DLCs were never ever leaked and every time Rockstar announced a DLC we would be mind blown but a man can dream. But honestly now when Rockstar release a DLC for GTA V people seem to have know about it 2 years ago hahaha. Rockstar should just tell us all their future content for GTA V from now on. on another note can someone tell me what DLCs GTA 6 has?

No. There are 2 big DLCs coming in 2016. One of them is Liberty City.

It's everything a big "maybe".

I find it difficult to see Liberty City again in GTA V, surely, it's better if I'm wrong, but I wouldn't take that leak as a certain thing that it's going to happen.

The question I have is: if LC comes out, we'll be able to fly planes there or not? Because flying only helicopters gets quite boring...

I don't think that right after introducing Virgo 2nd generation they will simply go back to the old one.

The second Virgo was criticized a lot.

 

They brought back the Faction and the Moonbeam, makes sense to also bring back a fan favorite (if you liked Little Jacobs that is).

The question I have is: if LC comes out, we'll be able to fly planes there or not? Because flying only helicopters gets quite boring...

 

I don't see a reason why we wouldn't be able to but finding a place to land is a different story.

Are we talking about the city of LC? Like all three of the islands? That would be absolutely massive in terms of size and memory space. How would we get there? Would it just be another island inside GTA V? When we arrive at LC, will there be a screen that says welcome to LC like it did in VC when going from one island to another? I just can't see the whole island of LC becoming an update. What would we be able to do there that we can't in San Andreas? I really don't want to go back to the brown and grainy city honestly. The only way I see our characters going to LC, is if Rockstar recreates LC and also recreates Online in the city. That would take months, maybe a few years to make. I'd rather wait for GTA 6 to release and if it does, have Vice City as the place, along with Online being included which I personally believe is what Rockstar is currently doing. Adding LC to GTA V would be the biggest undertaking by Rockstar, and in my opinion, a huge waste of time and resources. I'd rather see more heists and contact missions as well as the usual DLC contents. I know we all want LC to come to GTA Online, but at the end of the day, there wouldn't be anything to do. There's just not enough activities to participate in. Sure, a few missions here and there can be done for Niko,Yusuf Amir, Luis or Gay Tony, but that would be it. Of course, all this is my opinion and none of it has any influence on the possible DLC itself.

LS is getting boring for many and LC is already done but needs new textures. A new scenery would be the reason to have LC back, not to mention the new stuff that happened between IV - V would be interesting.

Either M,F and T go to LC or Niko arrives in LS to start a new life, maybe work with the three? I would love to see this happen, but I just don't think it will. Idk, know body really knows.

And a new place where the abandoned casino stood in North Alderney, perhaps Pine Barrens.

Toni Cipriani had a different voice actor in GTA III because of the years passed.

yep i doubt Niko would be back like Re-dragon said he had a disagreement with rockstar, im pretty sure if he didn't he would have been in gta v even if its a cameo. i think if GTA V had a LC DLC it would most likely have more of an impact on SP rather than Online.

Not much can be done with it as CJ,Tommy and Claude are part of the 3D universe and R* is done with it.

Vladimir Mashkov was the guy they based Niko's looks on, they originally asked him to play the part (voice and motion capture) of "a man with a dark past, with a slightly rumpled appearance" in a yet unnamed video game, he declined because at that time the deal to him seemed questionable and not interesting (He did not know he would be playing the lead of GTA IV)

 

Michael Hollick is the guy who did Niko's voice and motion capture, he looks nothing like the character, and after the success of GTA IV he tried to renegotiate his contract for more money, Rockstar said no, they are now in a dispute.

CJ, Claude.... are a myth in this universe (HD Era), they could have existed but are not the ones we knew.

I like to believe that they could have lived their life until they died.

because im speculating that GTA 6 Would also have 3 character like V did because i think its something that worked really well IMO.

Do you seriously think LC is coming? I really really want that, but i dont believe it is that easy.

 

If LC returns it will be also new story and new game, not just a free dlc.

name of that could be GTA: Liberty City Connection or something.

You have to go to airport and get tickets or fly to east/west to travel from map to map and then the game loads the other game.

Thats how I believe it will be working.

You hawe to change the disc or if game is loaded to console/pc files then it just loads.

(The same way you had to change the disc in ps1, in some games like Driver 2)

There is loading screen (gta art work of big passenger airplane in air/or what ever you use), it loads and then you are in the other map

Well considering what Fun said I do believe its coming, it may not come any time soon but its just a matter of time.

As to details how it will work and all, who knows, nobody knew here how yachts are going to work either.There are many ways it can be done but its all up to R*

There is no way that LC could be just free dlc for online. Its way too big thing to be just online dlc.

I believe its coming in future, but not that way.

I think there will be new game, that haves story and then the online gets also the map too, so you can travel between the maps via airports.

 

If I was a boss of R* Games:

Next GTA: Liberty City and after that GTA VI some other city. Maybe VC (not really my thing and I dont care really about vc, but i think vc fans need a game too).

I would like to see Philadelphia, detroit, baltimore.. etc..
