They gotta develop a whole new weather system though. It can't be sunny like Los Santos because that would make no sense. But it also can't be gloomy otherwise people will bitch and moan about how grey and depressing it looks. I liked IV's weather but apparently others didn't.

Why a whole new one? Couldn't they just use what's already there and tweak it to make it more rainy and overcast more often? And more golden sunsets and sunrises?It would look lazy. I can't stand it when it looks obvious that they reuses old stuff.

Love LC weather aswell, its part of the theme with all being dark and grey so I surely would love to see the contrast between LS and LC.One being bright and colorful while the other dark and grey.

There is also one thing about LC they'll need to do: during GTA V SP you can see on bleeter (if I remember correctly) that Alderney was flooded by a tsunami. So they will have to either add it as it was + 5 years to Online, or flooded to SP. (If they will ever add it. Maybe for a few missions in SP DLC same as North Yankton, who knows)

 

EDIT: Found on net: News reports about a hurricane flooding Liberty City and leaving many homeless can be heard on Weazel News, Radio Mirror Park, and Michael's TV during the Mr. Philips mission, referring to the recent Hurricane Sandy which impacted the New York City region, upon which Liberty City was based.

Correct, remember reading about it so they surely will have to make some changes with that in mind.

I wish! sh*t could work like Forza's Drivatar system.If they added a similar system to the Drivatar system, people wouldn't have to worry about not making money. But GTA's system is way too complex to accommodate that system.

Personally i would love any DLC that comes to GTA whether it would be Liberty City DLC, Bikers DLC, Cowboy DLC, Police DLC i couldn't care less what it was as long as it happens.

speaking of DLC I wouldn't be surprised if they released the Christmas DLC today. (maybe tomorrow where you are but its 3am UK time 18/12/2015 where I am right now)

He's on PC...He can use a mod menu to apply Bennys wheels to any vehicle he wants.

No the event will start, but the snow will only be right around Christmas eve/day. Maybe if we are lucky for New years day again too.

When would you think it would be released? I say January if Rockstar didn't make any new missions for Lamar, if they did then I say February. Will we get Xmas update tomorrow?

I think it's going to be much better than the first, and based on feedback, they may improve Benny's garage or have better customization for the new lowriders. Also can't wait for those guns. A proper, wooden-handguard stock removed AKS-74U and a sawed off 12 gauge are gonna be a blast. (Pun intended, completely.)

Ok, so i've just read about last year's Festive Surprise DLC and it was released on December 18th while the limited time content (masks, outfits, etc.) lasted until January 5th, judging from what R* mistakenly said on the newswire earlier about "#festivesurprise2015" in the snapmatic contest section, which means it's likely that Festive Surprise 2015 will be activated later on tonight, just like various people have stated before, or if i'm completely wrong it may be released next Tuesday.

Tomorrow is very likely for the festive surprise. Kinda concerned that the tampa will be a limited time car which I hope it isn't. I'm also wondering if clothing will disappear this time because of us being able to save outfits.

Even though Festive Surprise dropped on the 18th last year, I don't think that necessarily means it will drop on the 18th this year, particularly when you consider we've had a major update on the 15th (unlike last year).

 

Personally, I think we'll get an 'Executives & Other Criminals' event weekend (starting later today) and then the Christmas goodies next week - most likely Tuesday. Happy to be wrong, though.
