I'm not sure If this is what you're asking, but that's taken from the R* Newswire article from last Thursday that was made for this update.

Wish they'd bring businesses from single player. With all the maintenance jobs and stuff. But we aren't allowed to make easy money so we'd probably ending up running a ton of errands for little to no money.

Wasn't there like a very old audio leak of such a feature?It was among some of the stuff like the Casino.Either its cut content or something that will appear some time down the road.

So Bodygaurds... excuse the following mumbling but, if I hire a bodyguard(s) curious if they will be available only when said player is online or do I now have an NPC available with stats based off of player kinda thing. If said players logs they would take control of said NPC? Ya dig? Again somewhat chaotic wording, but ya get the idea.

It just occured to me that these new houses will be no different from the current houses we have now. Sure you can go inside. But the pool and all that stuff outside wont even feel like its yours. It'll be used the same way we use it today. Not trying to kill anyones mood on those but yeah...kinda sh*tty.

I think that is up to the respective networks (i.e. PSN, XBL, Steam) rather than R* themselves. They're probably just doing server maintenance ahead of the update.

Now, it seems to vary for everyone by a few minutes. Main thing to remember is it normally starts dropping about 7 hours from now.
