@Spectacus - Yeah I can too. But it was a JDM car. The first generation Lexus IS was basically a Toyota Altezza with Lexus badges and a simplified name. So I can let that slide. But Cheval? The stupidest f*cking brand in the game. The KARIN Kuruma? Like really? What happened to Maibatsu. They choose to f up on the easiest cars to brand.

Cheval is based on Holden, an exclusively Australian brand.

Speaking of that, since Holden is an actual thing in the game. They should just add modern utes to the game

 

 

Holdens can be imported. There's a company in Colorado that does it, but for a hefty price though. I'm still waiting for a newer Camaro. We have the Mustang and Challenger, to certain extents. But then again they'd probably call it an Imponte.

This a bit off topic but, A lot of car manufacturers across the world have the same car model but under a different brand or Name and same goes for General Motors who happen to own a lot of the car brands which they some times re brand for different countries.

So as for the Declasse, Classique and the Cheval they are all GM IRL and its probably GTAs humor or parody

Like I have said, the Stallion is branded Classique. It literally says it ON THE CAR. That was a developer oversight, not anything to do with being a parody.

sorry, I was talking in general like the Picador being branded as a cheval and the Surge could have been a declassse, the Inverto brand is technically a Chevrolet (Declasse) and the same goes for the Nightshade being classed as Imponte. And as for the stallion, Oldsmobile was GM too.

But that doesnt stop me from having fun, liking them or driving them.

 

Back on topic im intrigued as to how the body guards will come in all of this i have some many questions; is it other actual players who are body guards or is it just NPC? what if your bodyguard player isnt online? and will they be paid money from the players in game cash or from rockstar giving them cash? and how much?

Obviously the yaghts can be destroyed in some fashion, missile defense system and such.

 

That's a bad leap of logic. It's just as likely the defense systems are just so the owner can stand on the deck without getting strafed by jets and helicopters and the yacht itself is invulnerable.

Because it's an oversees GM brand. We have Chevrolet and GMC and Cadillac and Buick for our GM cars. Others have Opel or Vauxhall or Holden. So a Holden based brand in a United States setting is literally the dumbest sh*t. I mean who in the right mind? I swear the vehicle department is just stupid in V, it really is.

 

So with all the differences between the world of GTA and our world, it breaks your immersion/annoys you that that world's equivalent of GMC decided to market the equivalent of Holden in the US? There a hundreds of reasons why that could happen . .. and it annoys you more than healing-potion candybars?

When you join a session, you will be able to hire anyone in that session to be your bodyguard. It is other players, not npc's. They will start getting a salary. Probably a set amount that R* decides, and there are different levels of bodyguards. The higher paid ones have more special abilities in freeroam. The money is deducted from the VIP's bank account.

 

The bodyguards will only get paid if they are in the same session as the VIP. Anyone can be a VIP, and anyone can be a bodyguard.

 

The bodyguards can be fired at anytime if they arent doing their job, protecting the VIP, and they can also quit anytime they feel like it.

 

Basically, it will be like forming a makeshift "crew" in freeroam, and will most likely carry over into other sessions.

 

Also, once you have hired enough people, you will be able to do specific new missions, freeroam events, and adversary modes.

 

This is my speculation.

There would be plastic surgeons in different parts of town. In the poorer looking parts they'd be cheaper, in the higher-end parts they'd be more expensive. How expensive a surgeon is would indicate the success rate. You would be able to change: your eye-lids and shape, nose structure, chin-shape and cheekbones.

Basically to be able to sit down, or lay down, or what ever anywhere you want.

Yep, Page 261. It's a 'BLACKHAWK' styled recon vest. Another one, a heavier Eagle Industries styled one with pouches and protective plates added was also leaked by Dragoon.
