As for it's basis...I mean we already have the Phoenix which is basically the same car (platform wise), personally I would've liked to have seen an F-Body camaro/firebird be the Nightshade rather then well the early 70s camaro:

I am the opposite, man I hate those year Camaros compared to every other year lol. BTW, it looks like the Nightshade is based on this car.

Brother we all like different stuff, and that is alright. But yeah it definitely is a restomod car. It was pretty clear as soon as I saw it.

I'm not a huge fan of restomod cars myself, but remind me again how many have been added so far? Not many, I recall.

The Nightshade is not my cup of tea, but all the others seem very promising, esp. the Cognoscentis, Schafters and the Verlierer. Or however it was you spell it.

i think the only reason why people seem to look at it as a TVR is because of the headlights. however the body shape is without a doubt based on the weissman.

Ugh, anyone else here hate all the GTA 5 DLC clickbait there is on YouTube and generally on clickbaity news websites? Just saw one posted on the 4th that says

"Recently a banner for a Halloween DLC was seen for GTA 5, on a PlayStation 4 page. The said Halloween DLC was reported to be filled with wearables. Whilst this is all exciting, sadly the banner is a big false hope. Yes, people; the Halloween DLC for GTA is a big fat lie."

"Basically, the Halloween DLC was debunked. However, recently according to [not linking clickbaits sorry sexy people], a tipster by the name of Funmw2 (Known GTA tipster) shared that there'll be a Christmas DLC."

I wish Google would filter out this clickbait nonsense. Onto the topic, the Verli-doohickey car looks nice, and the name fits really well, I hope Rockstar start adding in new interiors, it just feels kind of boring with non unique interiors. I would drop some extra money if they had new interiors, or atleast an option to change interior colour. I won't be negative about Dragoon-ster's leaks, I think they're pretty nice. Just hope Rockstar will do a nice DLC gameplay video like they did with Lowriders, Heists and the Flight School update, would love to see a far shot of a yatch.

Man I am about as far as away from purist classic car guys as it can get...I love donks ffs purist car guys would kill me on the spot for saying that.

 

As for the car the Restomod car looks alright but...Idk there's just something about the Nightshade that looks off like how the Virgo is too narrow there's just something...

Indeed. So one added in the span of 2 years, can't really say "not another restomod" when that's the case. I actually had the Blackfin at some point and based it off the Roadster Shop version, absolutely loved it - I don't really know why I ended up selling it. Looked sexy as hell with a small spoiler, stock wheels and pure black paint. Very close replica. Might have to get it back at some point. The sound that thing makes... damn. Both of which are incredibly fast for what they are and both come with big rims (hell the virgo comes with Sports rims as stock) which are the telltale sign of a restomod.

 

Hell both come with a blower mod...now how many Lincoln Continentals and Cadillac Eldorados have you seen with such a modification?

God, people calling it the Karuma... Irritates me to no end. Guilty on the Verlierer though, I always seem to spell it "Verlieler" before correcting it.

 

^ Pretty sure the sport rims coming with the Virgo is a bug they're too lazy to fix - they aren't stock. But yeah, I also disagree - they are lowriders f anything.

They are some of the slowest cars in their class. I know it comes with sports rims, but I just think it takes more than big rims and some power to make a car a restomod. An entire rework of the entire car. Just my opinion though.

Now that's interesting. So if that is true we might not get Lowriders 2 until next year. Also by that description if I had to guess the four vehicles are probably as mentioned the Schafter limo, the maybach, the 4 door bentley and the Verlierer...so in that case where do the Nightshade and Mamba fit in then...maybe those are going to be in the Christmas update aswell, lol.
