Future DLC Discussion Thread

There just happens to be five weekends before xmas, coincidence or no? Think these next five weekends will be lowriders events? What could a lowriders event weekend possibly be? Probably just 2x $ races and 2x RP Lamar missions... I think we will get the Lowriders2 update this Tuesday. Lowriders2 update followed by five event weekends of 2x whatever and maybe some shirts then the festive update. Seems like the most logical schedule to me based off of what we know so far.

 

I said the same thing.

 

I expect one of the events to be x2 RP/cash on the adversary modes that use the lowriders.

 

i'd honestly wish for a Lowrider event in a Freemode event kind of way if you know what i'm getting at. have a lowriding competition going (similar to Ceasar's first mission in GTA SA) but in freeroam in a restricted area where players can't kill each other or blow up others cars or better yet have everyone in passive mode to avoid crashing into each other, and the first two who rush to the event gets to battle each other, the one who masters the switches takes the win (cash and RP as usual). and maybe an extra thing for the winners, if you won more than 5 or 10 times over the weekend you get a special livery for your Voodoo, Faction or the car that you used to battle with.

Or the Kill List protection if it requires a lot of moving. Similar things.

Its a computing term for an object or entity that relies on another object or entity (called a parent) if you knew anything about programming or 3d modelling or nodding then you would know that.

So something interesting found by Viper Venom, there is a non existent modification on the Peyote that is sat in Benny's on the car lift, it looks to be a future Lowrider mod possibly confirming that the Peyote and maybe the Manana will also get the Lowrider treatment, since these both have similar body options.

 

Honestly I don't think that Peyote is anything to go by since it is just a prop. Who knows though; anything is possible

 

Exactly, it's just a prop so there would be no point to create brand new model for an addon. My guess is that the Peyote was meant to be included with this update, along with the other cars that fun leaked before the Freemode events (slamvan, tornado etc) anyway my guess is that these vehicles were cut or held back for a future update.

The funny thing is the leak was 6 new cars right but this previous one (lowrider dlc 1) was 4 new cars two old cars why not add 3 new cars and the slam van/tornado/sabre would be part 2 and part 3 would be peyote, manana, anything else missing and 3 new cars? Anyone think the "mamba" might be another gasser maybe? Resembles the black fin so it should have a different treatment

I really hope we can get racing stripes and hopefully an actual windscreen (or helmet because driving a windshield-less car with no helmet at high speeds looks stupid).

 

But yeah I can't wait for it. The pops and crackles, the weighty steering. Just cruising around. I've always wanted to cruise around in a Cobra.

the only real part of dragoons leak that strikes me as WEIRD is the fact that theres two cognoscentis. thats what really make me doubt things. that there would be 2 cognosentis that look almost the same

The only thing that bugs me are how big those rims are and those calipers. Like is this supposed to be a modernized version of a classic? We already have that with the Coquette Backfin.

Yeah, they probably based it off a Superformance replica rather than an original Cobra. Looks like I'll be putting some Classic Fives on mine when the time comes.

Look very closely at the sleeves and collar. This is the Online character's model, proportions looks very different from Madrazo's goons.

 

This and the hoodie are legit, the logos look high-quality which means they couldn't have been extracted from those mexicans.

Yeah, it has triple round taillights. You could see it in Dragoon's video but I don't think anyone screencapped a rear view of the Mamba.
