Yeah, this game definitely attracts all types. I don't know what they are talking about either. I assume some sci fi graphic novel. I'm surprised by how many members on here are into anime too. Not really into any of the "fantasy" ideas people have for this game, I'm glad GTA keeps the game on a surreal/satire level. If the idea is plausible IRL I'm all for it, the more diversity the better.

I remember that the place where Bobby was lying was upstairs and she blew up some bridge with someone or something.

 

Fair enough, I always felt that MLO was the weakest of the three, although it probably has the most significant moments in it when you realize that Bobby was willing to give up his meat in order to live in the Aelph.

 

All that aside, if you're dealing with translations, there's no shame in not having the right words presented to you. The answer to the original line of thought was that she does not and never uses any form of "crossbow," it's always the fletcher. That was the weapon she was associated with, and Hideo's use of a traditional bow is befitting his role as an example of traditional Japanese mindset and classic martial training.

 

As I said, she used the classic sci-fi trope "needler pistol" or "needlegun." Think of a pistol that shot tiny darts of likely one or two millimeters in diameter and maybe only several milimeters long, at a phenomenally high rate of speed.

Also, it wasnt Norman Reedus who was frist in shooting zombies with crossbow. I think Clair from RE2 did it in 98, then few years after, in Code Veronica with explosive arrows aswell. kids dont remember those games, so that why they complain about crossbow in GTA

yeah, tbh I love all of them, each of them have unique atmosphere (Neuromancer is the darkest I think), especially if You consider Bridge Trilogy to be a part of the whole Universum.

 

Thanks for the correction about this gun. I've always imagined her with a small gun that has this bow like attachment on the both sides, thought it looks cool , but lets get back on topic, shall we?

Im a big fan of an idea which cyberpunk is, but not into roleplay games actually. Im that younger generation (26) that didnt play it in college. I like cp oriented books, anime aswell (gits, akira and texhnolyze mostly). Im looking forward for 2077, not because im Polish, but because the theme ofcourse, but also worried, since the Witcher turned to be too boring in its hugeness. Its a common problem for game these days, they deliver repetitive content, and no mechanics that stands out good for themselves (like flying in V e.g.). will see what cdpr will come with.

What really grinds my gears is that the Sabre GT is confirmed as being one of the next 6 low rider additions to Benny's Garage yet there has been absolutely nothing suggesting or leading to clues that the Manana, Emperor, or even (I believe) the Peyote will be lowrider options in the future.. They even have the Slamvan as a lowrider option before the Manana!

I can assure you it was explicitly referred to as a "fletcher" several times. I've read Neuromancer enough times to be able to quote key swathes of text near verbatim.

 

FWIW, I never liked CyberPunk 2020. As ridiculous as the Shadowrun premise was (and ungainly as its rules were), it was simply the better game and vastly more interesting universe even without the magic bits (which were, honestly, really well written into the core story). That said, I'll buy the sh*t out of CP2077 because there's such a dearth of subject matter out there, regardless.

Manana and Peyotle are waiting in my garage since late 2014, I knew that they'll come eventually with this idea (and suprisingly, they did faster then i suspected). I know they'll become lowerider sooner or later, it doesnt matter. R* is sadistic in their content dozing.

I kinda understand why, they know everybody wants the mannana and emperor as lowriders so they decide to release them at the very end to keep they hype up. If they released them with the 1st batch of cars I am sure some of the community wouldn't look more forward to the future lowrider updates. So its generating more hype in my opinion but correct me if I am wrong.

I really want the Picador to get added to the lowrider list; it'd make way more sense than the Slamvan. It's a cool little vehicle, and it's a shame it has so little customisation.

I think they're just trying to keep each batch of lowriders diverse. Not all the obvious boats, but some of those plus some muscles, vans, etc. Gives players more options.

I really want the Picador to get added to the lowrider list; it'd make way more sense than the Slamvan. It's a cool little vehicle, and it's a shame it has so little customisation.

The picador would be awesome as a lowrider since its based off the 69 el camino. It would look perfect!

Ah yeah, good old RE2, my favourite! Still playing it from time to time on my PSP.

 

Talking about RE2 in case you haven't been following the news Capcom is finally working on a Remake of it, never thought this day would come.
