I want the Lowrider rims for all cars. I think its completely retarded that they can't be used on all cars. I can understand certain mods are Lowrider only, but it just doesn't make any sense.

The worst part is that if you try to use them on non-Lowriders in SP with a trainer, it works fine, but if you try the same in Online they're blacklisted. They actually went through the effort of blacklisting the wheels on vehicles that they can't be equipped on without a trainer, that's how much they want to avoid giving people freedom of choice.

Other than the wire wheels for low riders I thought pretty much all of the bennys wheels are awful.

 

For older cars we need stuff with a lip to the rim to make it look right, there are a few but we need more. And definately we need an astro supreme copy. And a halibrand like wheel

The kracka and five spoke in muscle are pretty good, but I think probably 80% of the wheel designs are naff.

That is more than likely a cash card move there. I wouldn't normally say it like that, but I imagine they will expand Bennys, and if we want our cars to have the special wheels, we gotta pay the fee. That big ass fee.

 

Of course it isnt an issue for a lot of us, but I have heard plenty of people say already they bought a card just to have a lowrider car.

The chrome wheels helped a ton, but there are still no actual new ones except for Benny's wheels which are locked to Lowriders which, quite frankly is f*cking stupid. I really hope that they'll make some new ones now after they made some for Benny's, some really modern ones, the current ones are very outdated imo. That and some new paints/pearlescents would be great (and long overdue, and also a new texture for cars, a satin like "wrap", not quite as rough as matte - basically the worn texture we have, but can't apply at LSC. I'm just really hoping for a LSC update, make it happen R*.

I kinda feel like the sports rims repeat themselves in a way when you scroll through them. They are way too similar. Not all, but a good number of them.

I kinda feel like the sports rims repeat themselves in a way when you scroll through them. They are way too similar. Not all, but a good number of them.They are, and boring, too. Some really current, luxurious rims would be awesome to have, such as wheels similar to Vossen's like Scaglietti mentioned.

Black looks more like graphite in this game. I would love a bright matte cream. Imagine how good that would look on the Monroe or Windsor. I find it almost criminal that only 12 matte colours are present in the game.

Exactly. The matte texture is awful, the colors are to put it lightly, disgusting imo. The dark blue especially, makes me want to vomit everytime I spot it on the old Oracle. The only kinda decent ones are black/dark grey/grey, but even they need a pearlescent to not have that cheap look. I absolutely love the frozen paints BMW has, they look superb in every color and they change amazingly in different lighting conditions. You can't replicate them in any way. Would love some more Übermachts to be introduced, there haven't been any in updates so far, right?

Exactly. The matte texture is awful, the colors are to put it lightly, disgusting imo. The dark blue especially, makes me want to vomit everytime I spot it on the old Oracle. Nope. They could practically do the whole BMW lineup because nothing in V actually resembles any of the modern BMW models except for the Oracle II - based on the 650i Gran Coupe and F01 7-Series. The Sentinels suck anyway, they're slow and sound like vacuum cleaners and aren't fun to drive. So they could get away with doing a new one. The M4 is such a boss and - aesthetically - a lot more modern than the Sentinel we have now. Same with the Zion. I personally love the looks of the Zion but the only good thing about it are the looks. It is a horrible horrible horrible car. So a new M6 model would be cool but highly unlikely.

 

But knowing Rockstar, they'd probably only do the super car one. The i8.

The Sentinel isn't that slow in a straight line, but it definitely sucks in acceleration due to that wheelspin. The front looks nice but the back puts me off. It looks too bulky imo and the sounds are indeed awful. Sounds similar to the Zentorno.

I actually really like the way the Zion drives, but maybe that is just because it is so different from the rest of the cars I own. Very calm easy car to use. I guess that is also what is so bad about it as well.

Look I like to keep things relatively stock but some of the rims Rockstar slaps on their cars just flat out suck and then when you go looking for new ones, none of them fit. The Windsor? I can't believe they slapped those ugly Zion rims on it. And no LSC shoes fit it. Vossens or HREs sure would though.

They really need to streamline the whole rim selection system. First make available every rim in the game at lsc (all the exclusive rims like baller, brawle, comet, etc.). Then split the wheel selection into tire and rim independently. The type of tire u pick impacts rim size n width (sport rims are low pro rims wider in the back, where muscle gives u a bigger, fatter tire in back n smaller skinny tires up front, with more rubber than rim). That would make customization much easier.

Agreed, the Sentinel is hideous and it has terrible performance for something apparently inspired by the M3. I've had the Oracle II so many times, but I always end up selling it - something about its looks just bothers me, it's not really as long as the i650, the grille is ugly imo (it's the same on all Übermacht models though), and it sits really, really low for some reason, it almost looks lowered stock. I've had mine in a custom crew color Sakhir Orange, and while it performs exactly like it should, (I love the engine sound), something about the looks are just off for me. The Zion I like when it comes to looks, but I agree with you, it's really boring to drive and just... slow.

 

And that certainly seems like something R* would do lol, but I love how the i8 looks so I wouldn't even be mad about it - it would certainly be completely different than any of the current supers in the game. I'd love some more... "regular" BMW's, like the M4 as you said, something more BMW in 2015-2016 instead of the outdated models we have right now.

Man i pretty sure you are related to me some how. I too keep most of my cars stock. if you like stock cars you have to come by my garage all the cars are painted and customized compared to their real life versions and the biggest difference is under the hood.personally for my windsor i have installed the Duper7 rims just because they are close to IRL version.

It might not actually be slow but it just feels slow. You know how the Sentinel was in IV. It was a pocket rocket. So small and agile. It was a nimble little car with a quick takeoff and exceptional steering. If you knew how to drive it, you could pull off some incredible stunts and never get bored. I can almost keep up with a Turismo in one of those things. But in V it's so unengaged. The steering is basic, nothing to talk about and it sounds sooo bad. IV's Sentinel sounded like a potent little inline-6 but this sounds like a crappy econobox being pushed to its limits. And the looks. I loved IV's Sentinel. Simple and subtle. That gave it a subtle look and feel. And every line on it was perfect and portrayed the M3 E46 well without copying it too much. I agree with you on V's Sentinel. Good looking in the front but the back is just stupid. And the side just doesn't look very coupe like or sleek at all.

Yeah to me it's one of those cars that's supposed to be calm but edgy when you want it to be. But it has no edge, it's just dull. The steering isn't bad but it's not that fun. The steering isn't what I hate about it though. It doesn't feel fast - cause it isn't - and it also sounds pretty bad. I didn't necessarily want a carbon copy of the M6 but I wanted something like it. Something subdued but also kind of crazy. A car that you can cruise in then turn around and do powerslides in at high speeds with a lovely V10 whine.

Oracle XS is one of the most beautiful and luxurious looking cars in the game. Loved it from IV and still love it in V. But there are no visual mods for this car whatsoever. Now let's take a look at the one in IV:

 

Where is the grille, skirts, and bumpers in the only GTA game in which customization is most diverse? You couldn't even mod cars in IV and the Oracle XS still had mods to it lol. The two tone paint actually suits this car as well surprisingly.

It lacks them kidney grilles, a common trait that comes with GTA BMWs.

Can't be too hard to design a split grille design not identical to BMW's iconic design.

 

Am I the only one who wants some modern Cadillacs and Alfa Romeos added into the game? The CTS-V and the new Giulia would be great sports sedan additions imo, four-doors have been seriously lacking in the updates. All we seem to get are 2-door sports, supers and muscles.
