Whatever the next DLC is, I hope its as game changing as the lowrider DLC was and not like the old style DLC's where you just get a couple of cars some new clothes etc...

If R* wants to compete with Fallout 4 and if they have been working hard on this content, they'll release an update on Tuesday. Obviously that's not going to happen as an update would have been announced already. I think we'll get an update in December, that being the Xmas update that Dragoon leaked that will contain the Tampa. Seems fairly reasonable since Rockstar has released an Xmas update two years in a row, wouldn't surprise me if we get another one next month.

If R* wants to compete with Fallout 4 and if they have been working hard on this content, they'll release an update on Tuesday. There was no suggestion that the xmas update will be the stuff that was "leaked".

 

I do agree that there is likely to be a Christmas update though and I suspect we won't see anything until then.

 

Funmw2 has found reference to (amongst others) a variant of the sabre, this would suggest that the new one would be significantly different to the existing one.

 

We don't know for sure that anything you see in this thread is genuine, even if it is we have no idea if it will ever make it to the game and if it does, when it will appear.

To be honest, i never really liked that variant of the Tampa, i'd prefer the 1964-1973 Ford Mustang/ Dodge Demon version of the Tampa, i'm just in love with the Tampa and i can't wait for it to be released on Christmas, a gift from Rockstar Games to all of us

For some reason, quoting wont work, so, @ Vinewood Villain: People have been saying this since GTA:O came out. New "big" game comes out (COD, Fallout, Far Cry, whatever) and yet GTA lobbies are still always full.......

Obviously GTA's playerbase won't just disappear when a new big AAA game like Fallout 4 releases. There are people who don't care for Fallout and will continue playing GTAO as if the game never released. My original point was no GTA Online update is going to undermine Fallout 4 in any capacity. Rockstar wants players to return to Online? Good for them, but Fallout 4 isn't going to be disturbed whatsoever. Most people are simply disinterested in an update for a game they played two years ago. Hell, Lowriders barely picked up any attention compared to Heists. No one is gonna have any money for this supposed yacht because no one - except maybe hardcore players - is gonna be compelled enough invest hours and hours of grinding in a 2 year old game for something worth what, anywhere from $15-25 million?

 

 

 

Second quarter earnings show that GTA V was still in the top 3. Rockstar is making tons of money off this game still. and it is being driven by DLC>

You have to replace existing cars to make them spawn.

It's much easier to replace a current car in-game, than to add a new one. Just that much quicker. So Dragoon took the leaked models and put them them in the game in the same manner as you would a modded car. The same was done for the Halloween DLC cars (FrankenStrange and Lurcher) when they were leaked. This is no proof that it's fake, just means he put the model over the Phoenix model to be able to spawn it in, ingame

As for my opinion on this leak being real or a hoax? I.... Honestly believe it might be real, but something for the future, across multiple packs, as hinted towards. Definately not in one pack, and definately not coming out "ZOMGSNEXTTUESDAY", could take several months. There's just so much about these vehicles that seems like the usual way Rockstar does their vehicles... So it makes sense. But I'm pretty neutral, just gonna wait it out casually~

Why are some people so worried that Fallout 4 is going to kill GTA:O? So many big games have come and gone and GTA:O has passed the test of time so far.

GTA will always be GTA. When people want mindless passive people walking/driving/riding around like ghosts they go back to GTA:O. So i to think its not gonna die until GTA VI is released.

Assault Rifle SMG and Revolver? The prices were shown on Dragoons video, but that was in singleplayer. Online is a bit more expensive on certain items.

I'd like to just chime in my thoughts regarding a vehicle legitimacy point that has been previously raised.

It's important to bear in mind that, while the Nightshade vehicle does have visual similarities to some existing vehicles in Grand Theft Auto V, that does not necessarily make it definitely fake.

 

Prime example - the Dewbauchee Massacro, which has a front very similar to the Grotti Carbonizzare and a back very similar to the Dewbauchee Rapid GT.
