So is the sofa actually linked to apartment customisation in any way, or was it just that the asset for the existing prop got found in files ?

 

I would still suggest exercising caution in your hype to avoid disappointment.

 

I can't imagine anybody was soooo hyped over this sofa that they will be disappointed if it doesn't come lol.

 

 

The point is, that as I said before whilst some stuff (the animations) have been pretty much proven to be genuine, we are far from proving that everything seen on these pages is real and even if it is if we'll ever see them in the game.

Its entirely possible that the leaker came across this sofa in the files and thought it was new, it'd be an easy mistake to make. Its equally possible that it will be part of apartment customisation (when/if it appears) or maybe it won't be part of that. We don't know.

 

There is a long list of stuff that people have found evidence of that has never turned up - veterans day, apartment customisation, something like 10 or so cars, the casino, the nightclub and so on. We might not ever see this stuff and if we do we have no idea when.

 

Getting hyped up just ends in disappointment usually.

I agree with this. I feel pretty certain now that everything we've seen here came from and was made by Rockstar. I feel far less certain that we'll end up getting all of it in the game. Yachts in particular seem like a dicey proposition at best, and like you say, it seems like the furniture props could just be a mistake on the part of the leaker (though they could also be Rockstar doing some recycling of assets).

Until they give us details of an update and a date of when it will be available its best to assume nothing.

That's just the point - we don't know.

 

I think it was fun that said the date on some of the lowrider update files were like 2 years old.

 

Until R* announce an update with a release date we don't know if any of this will ever see the light of day.

Real. No mods of the exact ones have been made, weapons tints and reloads also can't be modded. Also they are not cut or beta items. The Assault Rifle SMG, double barrel shotgun and switchblade look complete and ready for release.

I imagine if it was cut content, someone would have already found it. I highly doubt the apartment customization is cut content.

The actor posted some social media stuff (Twitter or Instagram, I forget which) making not-at-all-subtle references to it. I don't know though - they could easily implement Franklin into Online in some capacity. Doesn't necessarily mean single player DLC.

I too would love to see Benny's garage expand into different kind of car classes with different customization for each class not just low riders. it would gives us the ability to have a car that feels unique to us compared to other players. I know it would take time for R* to do this, but at the end of the day the name of the game is called 'Grand theft auto'. plus since Benny could be a new contact, I'm also intrigued as to what Benny's services could be maybe jobs like Simeon or maybe something else.
