Guess ill be missing this update even if it includes yachts or well anything. Sadly not as interested as in the past. With halo 5 and fallout 4 and whatever comes after that ill likely be gone from gta till 6. Hope you all enjoy this thoo

Most likely . Why not right? Had it since day 1. Levels more then high enough. Have everything from pegasus. I recall having upwards of 40 days played last time i checked.. Not much left to play for really.

Haven't followed this topic for a few days, came back to some nice surprises kinda glad most of this is kind of confirmed now, clears things up I guess

I just realized that one of the couch leaked already exists in the game. It's inside a small room located in the garden of one of the mansions above the vinewood lake, near the pool.

 

Please note that I'm NOT saying that the leak is fake because of this. I personally believe that all this leaked stuff is real. I just think it's an interesting fact and I want to share it.

It was inside a folder called MPapartment. According to the leaker, obviously. Anyway you can read in the image "apa_ss1..." etc written in yellow in the corner.

I think it could go either way. It would be easier to guess if Dragoon had shared his files (and the folders that contained them, so we could see the exact structure). Without that, I think it's about equally possible that this is just an existing asset that won't be in DLC, or that this is an existing asset being deliberately recycled for use in apartment customization. I mean, why wouldn't they? The game is loaded with random furniture in both interiors and exteriors; knowing that people want to change up their apartments, an easy way to do it would be to let us choose props already in the game, so they don't have to design so many new ones.

 

Caution is a good idea regardless.

If your question is "do people still believe the yacht is real even though the Docktease pages use a couple of stock images," the answer is yes. Or, as in my case, some of us still lean toward thinking it's real while realizing there's a strong possibility it's not. If the yacht is real, the reason for the stock images would be that it's quicker to plug them into the web site to get an idea what the finished version will look like, than to wait on a fully-finished and renderable yacht. And nothing in Dragoon's screenshots suggests that the yachts are finished and ready to render. So the explanation is that a developer did it as a shortcut: "This is kind of what this page will look like when we're done, and have replaced these images with real ones from in-game."

 

Initially I was highly skeptical about this leak, and the stock images were one reason. I've since turned around on this for a few reasons (the main ones being that some of the other content is basically un-fakeable, and that fun found references to the new player animations in the last update). That leads me to believe that it's probably all real - at least real in the sense that all the content came from Rockstar and was not modded or otherwise faked by Dragoon himself. As always, whether we end up actually getting it all is a different question. There is plenty of cut content and leaked "future DLC" that we still don't have.

Yes, for the millionth time. It is common for developers to use placeholder images for unfinished work. That is why these images come from the first page of google search. The dev just googled yacht and used the first pic he saw that fit what he needed. If someone were trying to fake this, they would have gotten a yacht image from some obscure place, that would likely be difficult to find..

The point is, that as I said before whilst some stuff (the animations) have been pretty much proven to be genuine, we are far from proving that everything seen on these pages is real and even if it is if we'll ever see them in the game.

Its entirely possible that the leaker came across this sofa in the files and thought it was new, it'd be an easy mistake to make. Its equally possible that it will be part of apartment customisation (when/if it appears) or maybe it won't be part of that. We don't know.

 

There is a long list of stuff that people have found evidence of that has never turned up - veterans day, apartment customisation, something like 10 or so cars, the casino, the nightclub and so on. We might not ever see this stuff and if we do we have no idea when.

 

Getting hyped up just ends in disappointment usually.
