The reality is that we'll know for sure in about 2 or 3 months... Until then, let's give it a damn rest.

The leak obviously has some truth to it. The problem is that we don't know exactly what all will be implemented onto the game, and what is just dev beta stuff that might not ever be used.

It's looking more and more like Dragoon has gotten a hold of at least some of R*'s dev material. The fact that he didn't mention the minivan though, leads me to believe that he got only some of the content. Not all of it.

Reasons why it's fake:

-Google Images pic used for the yacht ad on DockTease

-Why would Rockstar suddenly add rounded, wooden weapons when the rest have always been robust and military grade?

-Shaders look totally off for the "leaked vehicles"

-Helicopter interior is improperly rendered, doesn't even use the same texture maps or outline as other choppers

-Revolver is low poly when the other weapons aren't? Looks like a generic weapons mod pack to me

- google image? Dev stuff bro like lorem ipsum for webmasters

- no rounded wooden weapons? So the musket isn't an old piece of wood firing one bullet at a time?

- and for all the rest. Dev stuff again, all leaks can't be perfect with final textures...

It's not something we are suppose to see before it's calling by rockstar. Think again.

I prefere to say that some parts are confirmed by multiple sources (dragoon + funmw2) and some other only by one so not confirmed.

In all case only rockstar can really confirm all of this by posting it on newswire.

But the rockstar communication can make us crazy before that comes.

If Dragoon1010 create all fake to troll everybody, why delete all the content from his YouTube and Twitter ? Why hé doesn't speak anymore ? Why spending so much time to troll ? He is not a dumb he have a community and like create video of gameplay etc not a please click like comment my vidéo is awesome !

The fact is hé delete everything, maybe it's à rockstar request ? If they delete de vidéo on YouTube so everybody knows all it's real so maybe they ask him to delete himself just for making trouble in out minds

I sceptically look from side to side in the discussion, but alas, as i can't see new content, i decide to look in this thread 3 hours later.

I think that there is something on Christmas or perhaps Black Friday, but i'm not sure. Proceed to play with leisure and install some mods in SP.

To the people who are confused about the Bravado Verlierer:

The Chrysler Corporation was founded by Walter Chrysler in 1925,[6] out of what remained of the Maxwell Motor Company. Chrysler greatly expanded in 1928, when it acquired the Fargo truck company and the Dodge Brothers Company and began selling vehicles under those brands; that same year it also established the Plymouth and DeSoto automobile brands.

In the 1960s the company expanded into Europe, creating the Chrysler Europe division, formed from the acquisition of French, British and Spanish companies. In the 1970s, a number of factors including the 1973 oil crisis impacted Chrysler's sales, and by the late 1970s, Chrysler was on the verge of bankruptcy, forcing its retreat from Europe in 1979. Lee Iacocca was brought in as CEO and is credited with returning the company to profitability in the 1980s. In 1987, Chrysler acquired American Motors Corporation (AMC), which brought the profitable Jeep brand under the Chrysler umbrella.

In 1998, Chrysler merged with German automaker Daimler-Benz AG to form DaimlerChrysler; the merger proved contentious with investors and Chrysler was sold to Cerberus Capital Management and renamed Chrysler LLC in 2007. Like the other Big Three automobile manufacturers, Chrysler was hit hard by the automotive industry crisis of 20082010.

Through a combination of negotiations with creditors, filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization on April 30, 2009, and participating in a bailout from the U.S. government through the Troubled Asset Relief Program, Chrysler managed to remain in business. On June 10, 2009, Chrysler emerged from the bankruptcy proceedings with the United Auto Workers pension fund, Fiat S.p.A., and the U.S. and Canadian governments as principal owners. The bankruptcy resulted in Chrysler defaulting on over $4 billion in debts. By May 24, 2011, Chrysler finished repaying its obligations to the U.S. government five years early, although the cost to the American taxpayer was $1.3 billion. Over the next few years Fiat gradually acquired the other parties' shares while removing much of the weight of the loans (which carried a 21% interest rate) in a short period. On January 1, 2014, Fiat S.p.A announced a deal to purchase the rest of Chrysler from the United Auto Workers retiree health trust. The deal was completed on January 21, 2014, making Chrysler Group a subsidiary of Fiat S.p.A.[4] In May 2014, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, NV was born by merging Fiat S.p.A. into the company. This was completed in August 2014. Chrysler Group LLC remained a subsidiary until December 15, 2014, when it was renamed FCA US LLC, to reflect the Fiat-Chrysler merger.[7]

This is called satire, R* is relentlessly satirical with the GTA series. Bravado is the GTA version of Chrysler, a company that is currently running commercials that start out in foreign languages, poking fun it's current and past foreign alliances. Verlierer is German for LOSER!

Wow! It make sense and no doubt it's the way rockstar find this name, not dragoon. So yes, for me it's really a leak he founds of real content in coming.

Coming when, don't know but coming anyway.

I just search and found that too on wiesmann wiki page :

"In May 2014 , activity separation rumors are becoming increasingly accurate . Indeed, after an insolvency proceeding commenced in late 2013 , no funds have been found to save the company."

That match too with the model and the brand who fail.

Looks like a generic weapons mod pack to me.

-Placeholder images, commonly used in graphic design while something is in development.

-The Musket, Marksman pistol and Gusenberg Sweeper, as well as the wooden luxury gun tints would like to have a word with you.

-Most of them look fine to me, and some are clearly not finished.

-Probably not finished yet, although the images I saw of it looked OK.

-The revolver is clearly in a very early state of development, the animations don't work fully and the textures are clearly unfinished (the model itself looks OK, it's the textures and animations that are the problem). Also, the guns have functioning tints, which no weapons mods have featured.

Because that means he leaked 3 future updates.

- Could be placeholder for the real picture. Once they will finish the yacht model, the dev would take a screenshot instead. Devs sometimes use quick Google Image searches as placeholders, and sometimes they even stay in the game by accident (like in Mass Effect 3's ending).

- Some weapons were wooden weapons, like the recent and similar Marksman Pistol. The machete is not military, and the new machine-gun is pure gang-banger.

- Unfinished leaked vehicles, probably. One of them had buggy white interior and Dragoon wasn't afraid to show us that.

- Same as previous one

- Revolver is probably a work in progress. If Dragoon made a great-looking AK, why also adding a terrible revolver ? He would either create an equally good one or not make one.

I do not say it's real, but these argument could be refuted.

We have two choices here :

1) Someone made various gun models (impossible for the moment to create guns with tints, so he's the only one who knows), impressive car models, and used cut elements both known since some time (Tampa) and undiscovered until now (the animations confirmed by Fun) to create a believable hoax. He uses his alias known in the french GTA community to do it, (an anonymous leak would be harder to believe) and disappears for no reasons after a couple days without gaining anything from his scheme except disappointment for the fans.

2) Someone found files for cut content and future updates, and leaked it on the internet, with video proofs and pictures. R* asks him to remove it and stop talking about it because since these files are not in the new DLC files, they maybe have been stoled.

Occam's Razor, people. I am not 100% sure myself, because we know nothing about Dragoon. He never leaked OR created mods before, so I would be surprised by both. But I cautionly choose "probably real, but maybe cut content" for the moment.

So it's real?!! Holy crap

No, it is still not real, but people think if they add like 50 pages, it might become real. smh

It is still the six year old yacht from BOGT. There is still no way yachts could implemented into online properly. And there is still no way they call an american car "Verlierer".

Pfister Uranus and Karin Snipe are much, much realer.

No, people (including me, and I was deeply skeptical of this) are starting to think it's real for various reasons, the main one being that fun found references to those player animations in the last update's code. Combined with the fact that some of this is almost impossible to mod according to people who know what they're talking about, it looks like it's probably mostly or all Rockstar-created content. Whether we actually get it all, in the end, is a separate question. As for yachts being implemented in Online, how would you know that? I lean toward thinking it would be hard to do also, but I assume neither of us are developers that work on RAGE games; we really don't know. And it likely depends on how they try to implement them - whether they move or are just scenery objects loaded in when you spawn in the session; whether they have many dynamic objects in their interiors; how detailed the overall models are; etc. There are a lot of ways they could cut corners that would make the yachts not take up too much RAM, and if they can't move around much or at all, they don't have to strain our P2P connections either. One way they could do it: make them work like apartments, where only the exterior is loaded at first, and going through a door takes you through a cut scene and into a separately-loaded interior.

- Could be a placeholder used by the devs themselves if the yacht models aren't ready to render in game.

- The musket is military-grade? Or the marksman pistol? We have a lot of different weapon types, and if they're adding stuff with Lowriders 2, some cheaper, street-grade weapons makes sense.

- Shaders may not be finished on in-development content

- Ditto

- Ditto. Basically, unfinished textures, shaders and interiors tell us nothing. It could be a bad fake OR it could just be stuff they haven't finished making yet.

I'm not even joking. Remember the Golden Luxor? That was worth $10,000,000 in-game, which is worth $120 in real money if you bought shark cards! A yacht would easily be worth three times that.

Don't forget how greedy Rockstar truly is. Apparently $3 billion wasn't enough for them to take it easy on some casual players who don't want to create a second life through GTA Online's grindfest.

Casual players have no obligation to own the golden Luxor, or garages full of all the supercars. It is perfectly possible to play this game without buying EVERYTHING. Also, many of us feel that the prices of recent content, especially the IGG stuff, were in reaction to a year and a half of money glitching. Rockstar is not dumb - they know that a whole lot of people out there had many millions of illicit, not-at-all-grinded-for money. That update was partly targeted to drain those players' bank accounts, and to let them show off their insane wealth. In other words, gold Luxors were not for Joe Player, they were for Jimmy Cheater.

If we ever see yachts in this game, I'd guess the price tag to be 15-20 mil. They'll be the ultimate luxury object, and the price will help prevent sessions from being full of them. But people will own them. Hell, I don't money glitch and I've got 5 million saved still; I've had as much as 21 mil in recent memory.

Move along people, it's a bogus rumor. And quit acting like any of you here would be able to afford a yacht Online. Your saving grace would be a hacker giving you money if you're on PC. If not, you're going to have to resort to shark cards and probably spend more money on those than the actual game itself.

I'm not even joking. Remember the Golden Luxor? That was worth $10,000,000 in-game, which is worth $120 in real money if you bought shark cards! A yacht would easily be worth three times that.

I still think the gold Luxor is a bad example. It's a special edition of an existing vehicle that is 99% identical for a 10th of the price. Same story with the gold Swift.

A better example would be the Hydra. In real life a VTOL fighter would set you back $25m to $100+m. But the Hydra costs $3m in game.

I seriously doubt R* would waste so much time, money, and resources creating not just 1 detailed yacht, but 3 detailed yachts, just to price them out of reach of 99.99% of the player base.

Hell, I don't mind skepticism. It's part of the process and it's actually a healthy and good thing, people questioning the information they are given. I was quite skeptical myself, though these animations are turning me around. What I do mind is that some of the skeptics are completely ignoring new information and just refuse to acknowledge it. Don't just beat the "it's fake, it's got to be fake" drum - the song can evolve over time.

Assuming this leak is genuine, and there is reason to believe it is, then it is something R* is working on. Or had worked on.

Whether it ever makes it into the game is a different question entirely.

I am not 100% sure myself, because we know nothing about Dragoon. He never leaked OR created mods before, so I would be surprised by both. But I cautionly choose "probably real, but maybe cut content" for the moment.

Yes, the marojity of you guys don't know him but we are at least 3 people who knows him.

JeyM and me making photoshop contents like concept-cars pictures and ideas. The most famous of JeyM are the convertible supercars. Mine are crappy sponsorship (one of the top ten liked thread on gtaforums) and the last proposal of tohoto, art and me about west coast dlc concept.

Yan22 also knows him. He was on gtanf staff and now know as a leaker source often affiliate with funmw2 discussions.

I know that isn't a lot of people who knows him here and who can be taking seriously but I personnaly believe in dragoon.

He is a good videomaker of gameplay content, he loves the gta games and does a lot for community. I still believe he hasn't the skill to make all of this (3D, photoshop, programming). I don't know how he founds this but i think it's just some beginner's luck.

Yes it's huge and make it even more difficult to believe it until it's proved.

But yeah! I believe him.

So he's not good enough to create this fake leak, and he's not good enough to hack these infos. So where did he get it ?

I honestly suspect he physically stole some hardware containing these infos or got them illegally. Maybe from the people in France who translate the updates for R*. Is translation something done in-house or outsourced in various countries by native speakers ?
