Okay a google images photo is a place holder you'd have no issue with it if it were something more elaborate however that google images photo just shows that this could be true because someone who was trying to convince you of something would make that photo look as elaborate as everything else.

Find me a weapon mod in GTA5-Mods which has functional "textures" that emulate gun tints flawlessly.

 

Gun tints are essentially the same principle as crew colors, they also use pearlescents. The pearl and the color can both be seen in that video Dragoon posted, something which CANNOT be replicated with any retexture.

B/c we don't have tools to do that. We can't do new animation and put it into the game (yet). Same with tints. Also none of the shotguns in the game have same reload animation as shown in video.

There's like a new goddamn GTA V weapon mod released every 10 minutes, yet none of these have tints.

 

If people wanted their guns to be the best quality possible, wouldn't you add gun tints to the mix? Not even certified professional modders can come up with a legitimate way of adding gun-tints, why the f*ck would some obscure Frenchman suddenly spend 2 weeks in order to research gun-tints?
