►The Lowriders DLC Coming Next Week, Tuesday October The 20th:

actual_1444922415.jpg

With next week’s release of thr GTA Online: Lowriders Update for PS4, Xbox One and PC – lovers of cars and customization all across Los Santos and Blaine County will have a suite of brand new options and a new place to go get them. Introducing Benny’s Original Motor Works, a new customs shop in downtown Strawberry that offers a huge range of lowrider customizations that can turn your classic junker into a high-spec, tricked-out king of the streets.

Visit Benny’s website via the shortcut on your in-game phone to choose from a half-dozen select customizable vehicles – then bring them down to the man himself for an upgrade that unlocks new custom lowrider mods. Deck out your engine block with covers and air filters, coat your interiors with velour, leather and patterns, choose custom colors and designs for your dials, or add a new steering wheel and custom shift levers. Give your ride lift with hydraulics - the more powerful the pumps, the higher you can bounce. And boost your stereo’s performance with new speakers and subs in the back.

actual_1444922428.jpg

Then, meet up with friends and fellow car enthusiasts to show off your new rides – use the Player Interaction Menu while inside or outside the car to open up the vehicle doors, hood and trunk, switch on the engine to flash your neons and bump your favorite radio station for all to admire. Crew car shows are about to go next level.

And keep an eye out for calls and texts from Lamar – he’s making moves of his own through a series of new missions and he’s going to need your help. You’ll want to hit up your trusted allies, wheelmen, and sharpshooters for backup too, as things are going to get hectic.

actual_1444922440.jpg

Get stocked with the fully automatic Machine Pistol or Machete from Ammu-Nation. The upwardly mobile can also expand their garage space and fleet of vehicles with the addition of the oft-requested fourth purchasable property. There’s also tons of new clothing, hair and accessory options as well as 3 new Adversary Modes and more.

GTA Online: Lowriders arrives for PS4, Xbox One and PC as an automatic update on Tuesday, October 20th. See more screens from next week’s update below.

The New Freemode Events, which unlock after completing the tutorial or are available immediately if the tutorial was skipped, take place every 12 minutes.

You have the choice to either take part in them, ignore completely or, if you so choose, spectate.
Some of the events – such as the high-speed challenge – are ‘ambient’, meaning you can take part no matter where you are on the map. Others require you to drive to a specific area on the map before the challenge kicks off.
◆Cash and RP rewards are given to the best players, but interestingly you can join forces with other players to increase your chances of winning – although the spoils you reap are split between the players on your team.

◆LOTS more info on the New Freemode Events BELOW, in the "New Features/Content:" section.

Gang Fights have been Reset.

◆Now they all show up as if they have never been done.

New Features/Content:(NG- PS4, Xbox One, & PC ONLY)

The Freemode Events:

The Freemode Events take place every 12 minutes.

You have the choice to either take part in them, ignore completely or, if you so choose, spectate.

Some of the events – such as the high-speed challenge – are ‘ambient’, meaning you can take part no matter where you are on the map. Others require you to drive to a specific area on the map before the challenge kicks off.

◆Cash and RP rewards are given to the best players, and you even have the choice to join forces with other players to increase your chances of winning – however the rewards will be split between the players in your team.

The Different Types of Freemode Events:

Hunt the Beast:

huntthebeast.jpg

Hunt the Beast is a thrilling game of cat and mouse that is spread across the entire map.
In Hunt the Beast players team up to track and kill ‘the beast’, which is a randomly-selected player who becomes "blessed" with super strength and speed for the duration of the round. (and look a lot like Michael J. Fox in Teen Wolf, covered in fur and wearing a red varsity jacket.) However, because the beast is invisible to other players, on the mini-map at least, trying to track down a single person among thousands is no easy feat.

The Beast’s aim is to get to 10 checkpoints that are scattered around Los Santos within a specified time limit.
As a hunter, it’s possible to hear the growl of the beast if you’re close enough, but really your only chance of tracking it down is when it appears on the map for 10 seconds after reaching each checkpoint.

Checkpoint Challenge:

CHECKPOINTCHALLENGE.jpg

●This is like an Easter Egg, once a Player gets to the Blip its GONE!

120 checkpoints will spawn in a one quadrant of the map and players must compete to collect the most in the given time limit.

This mode comes in two variants: land & sea checkpoints and air checkpoints.
Criminal Damage:

criminaldamage.jpg

Whichever player causes the most damage, wins. Its just that simple.
At least it seems simple, simple if you pick the right spot, like a busy downtown intersection where cars stack up, or down at the airport where expensive jets are easy targets, BUT get stuck out in the middle of nowhere and pickings are slim.
A quick solution for a "dry spot" is... ....to call in your own Pegasus vehicles, a Merryweather Pickup Chopper([email protected]$60k), or if you and a Buddy are working together you a Friend Personal Vehicle, or MW Merc.s to attack them(in Crusaders) and blow them up to give you a boost on the leaderboard, but remember you end up with the insurance costs this way.

●Now a quick list of things that do NOT count towards your total: Your own Personal Vehicles and MW Backup Chopper(cost$5k=0).
Penned In:

penned_in_8.jpg

This ones a free~for~all battle~royale which has many players in land vehicles all battling to stay within an ever-decreasing dome, as it moves slowly around the map.

Time Trial:

TIMETRIAL2.jpg

You try to beat a record lap time to the Blip that appears on the map.

This will change every week.
Kill List:

KILLIST.jpg

●You must get to the Armored Vehicle(Valkyrie Helicpter or Insurgent Gunner) with a set number of players(4) and kill(Survive) a set number of waves of enemies. (Sort of like a survival.)

Kill List - Competitive:

Pretty much the same is the ABOVE Event, Except, you go head-to-head with another player team.
Two teams of four(4) each climb inside an Armored Vehicle and the objective is to take down as many Merriweather Merc.s as possible, who attack in Buzzard Attack Helicopters AND from the ground by firing missiles.
The twist is both teams are targeting the same Merc.s.

Hot Property:

HOTPROPERTY.jpg

●Players compete to control possession of a blipped briefcase and the goal is to hold on to it as long as you can, because the longer you have it, the more points you earn.
Dead Drop:

DEADDROP.jpg

●Similar to the event above, a briefcase is blipped for players to collect and deliver to a location, BUT the players must compete for the chance to deliver the briefcase, by killing the current "Owner/Holder".
Hold the Wheel:

HOLDTHEWHEEl.jpg

●A target vehicle is blipped on the map for 5 minutes and playerss must compete to be the one i the vehicle's drive's seat when the timer expires.
Moving Target:

MOVINGTARGET.jpg

●A vehicle is blipped on the map, the first player to deliver it to the marked destination wins.(A lot like a Simeon HPV.)
Challenges:

j2CXPN.gif

●In Event Challenges you will compete in one of 19 unique Challenges against your Freemode friends and foes. See who can perform the longest jump, who can drive the farthest without crashing, who can fall the longest distance without dying, who can freefall the farthest before pulling their ‘chute – and many other ways to risk your neck to try and be a top 3 finisher for GTA$ and RP rewards.:

●Fastest Speed

[Furthest Distance]Low Flying

●Furthest Drive without Crash

[Furthest Distance]Low Inverted Flying

●Headshot

●Highest Skydive(Must land on the LAND, CANNOT land in the water.)

●Longest Jump(Must land on the LAND, CANNOT land in the water.)

●Longest Survivable Fall(Must land on the LAND, CANNOT land in the water.)
●Lowest Parachute Deploy(Must land on the LAND, CANNOT land in the water.)
●Longest Bail from Vehicle(Must Survive)

Melee
[Most]Vehicles Stolen
[Most]Near Misses

●Reverse Driving without Crash

●Sniper

Two(2) NEW Adversary Modes:
◆The new Adversary Modes are like regular Adversary Modes, they are triggered through a lobby, both are for two teams of four, & there are seven variants of each mode.

◆First, there is "Hunting Pack" Mode:

huntingpack.jpg

Hunting Pack is a cross between Speed and Mad Max, with the team of defenders. three of y'all in high-performance cars and one in the VIP vehicle, which explodes if it reaches a standstill. The end goal is for the VIP vehicle to get their precious cargo to the target destination in one piece.
& finally these is "Cross the Line" Mode:

crosstheline.jpg

Two(2) teams face each other, starting behind their line, and must cross the battlefield and get all four(4) team-mates behind the enemy’s line to win.
●In this mode communication is key, to both stem an enemy’s attack
if they try to sneak around the side, or to plan y'all's own attack.

►The R☆ Editor to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with new features (also being added for current PC users):

editor.jpg

The Flapper Bob has Returned:

◆The Flapper Bob, a Valentine's Day Massacre DLC Hairdo, has returned to the Barbershop List. Originally the Flapper Bob was ONLY available during the Valentine's Day Massacre DLC, February 13 - March 3, 2014. However once the DLC was remove and the content was removed from the store, players that purchased Valentine's Day Massacre Content keep it in their inventory, everything that is except the Flapper Bob.

The Flapper Bob had to be kept as the Players Hairdo for the entire game, if you wanted to keep it(like I have, lol). But now that it, like the Mullet has been added to the Barbershops' List, you can simply purchase it for @$1,000, including Color and Highlights. Now if you later change you hairdo, OR if you STILL have the Flapper Bob and change it now you WILL be able to repurchase it at ANYTIME!
This MAY only apply to players that previously purchased it during the Valentine's Day Massacre DLC!

This MAY only apply to players that KEPT the Flapper Bob Hairdo this ENTIRE time.

Player blips have had pointers to indicate direction, added to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, just as it had been on PS3 and Xbox 360 since day One.

They are now No longer just generic dots.

Changes & Problems with Creator:(NG- PS4, Xbox One, & PC ONLY)

3_systems.png

Changes:

►Props can now be stacked on top of each other.

◆Pitch, Roll, Yaw movement on all props. Combined with new prop stacking generally renders all prior methods of stacking outdated/unrequired.
◆Sometimes may have to unselect prop stacking to push "ghost" prop further into other items etc.
◆Use of old prop swapping glitch as can be buggy so the camera angle method is normally the best solution.

►Props can now be placed overlapping one another.

◆Props can end up inside each other with prop stacking and impossible to reselect.
►Props can now be rotated.

◆Pitch, Roll, Yaw movement on all props. Combined with new prop stacking generally renders all prior methods of stacking outdated/unrequired.
►Prop templates can be saved so the user can re-use the prop throughout Job creation.

◆When using/making Templates the cursor "holds" it from the first chosen prop (center of screen).
◆They also always appear slightly rotated to the right from the original when first selected but all follow that ones orientation from then on.

►The 0.62 mile limit on race length has been removed.

◆The 0.62 limit is only removed for cycle races though.
●You can use the "Small checkpoint trick" for larger vehicles by using bikes to start with.

►A creation now and modify/publish under another name.

►Check points(races), weapons and spawn points (DM's,capture and LTS) can now be placed on any prop level without having to place, then pickup.
◆Believe this actually came in on last update for race checkpoints when previous issues were "fixed".(but easy spawn point placement is new.)
◆This can also be slightly buggy with spawn points. Sometimes they can be placed instantly on items, sometimes only certain areas. Deleting prop and replacing them normally fixes it though.

►Much smaller increments for prop adjustment.
◆Stick movement is smoother when zoomed, rotation with R1 and L1 is now smoother and fine tuned placement is easier to achieve.

►Fixed issues with the dynamic props.
►Water props can be placed on land and vice versa with prop stacking selected.
◆Water props can also be placed "floating".

Problems:

►Props can end up inside each other with prop stacking and impossible to reselect.
►Reselecting/picking up props (especially those within structures) now generally requires deselecting "prop stacking" every time.
►Changing play area in DM's, LTS, capture etc. instantly deletes all spawn points.
►Camera still gets stuck inside certain floating props especially if a test is abandoned while on or under them.
◆Normally selecting another prop number/checkpoint or retesting and driving away from prop before quitting to menu fixes.

►Are the easy glitches/tricks still working?

{Due to the content on this item, its list will be in [spoiIer] tags so those that do not wish to see them will not have to.}

◆All swapping glitches including prop number swap. Most of these are redundant now but still work fine.
◆Small checkpoint trick for larger vehicles by using bikes.
◆Floating vehicles still require placed and picked up but work fine.
◆Trigger drag and drop trick (can still be tricky but works better on certain props now).
◆Checkpoints can still be used for prop orientation.

(I want to Thank EDANBURGH for the huge list of "Creator Changes" and the new "Changes & Problems with Creator:(NG- PS4, Xbox One, & PC ONLY)" section NOT listed by R☆.)

R☆ is currently investigating the issue for a fix.
As with any technical issues whatsoever, please make sure to visit R☆ Support or R☆ Support via Twitter.

◆"...for more new cars to collect – not to worry, we’re working on new vehicles and lots more for future updates coming soon." -R☆

Passive Mode still does NOT work in the "deluxe" aircraft.

Point of Interest markers now stay on the map until the player removes them.
Now when you start a mission(job list) from an invite only session, matchmaking is set to closed as default setting.
This only happened with missions accepted from the phone or voting screen lobby.

►Tips for Mastering Freemode Events - Part 1:

[This has been placed in [spoiIer] Tags for those that do not wish to read tips or spoil their experience in any way.]

With the latest GTA Online Update, players now have new featured Freemode Events in which to drive, hunt, chase and shoot their way to victory, offering an unprecedented level of structured chaos in Freemode. From Kill List to Moving Target, there is a plethora of options unique to the GTA Online experience. To help get you started, R☆ has assembled a three part series of tips to give you the most bang for your buck. In part one, we cover Hunt the Beast, King of the Castle, Hot Property and Moving Target, as well as some general advice on how to best be prepared for all upcoming Events.

GETTING STARTED

In order to be fully prepared for all Freemode Events, it is highly recommend that you use these general tips as a credo:

●Stock up. You'll need lots of firepower and a variety of vehicles so be sure to load up on ammo, armor and snacks and have a diverse mix of rides in your garage, from motorcycles to fast cars to off-road vehicles - be prepared to dial up your Mechanic at the drop of a dime. Similarly, you should also have a chopper or plane at the ready from Pegasus.

●Be generous. Team up and share your cash by going to the Inventory section in your Interaction menu, and select Cash. From there, choose which player you'd like to share with as well as a percentage cut.

●Periodically, purple help text and UI will pop onto your screen. Be on the lookout for these messages as they will provide helpful information specific to the Freemode Events.

●Keep your eyes on the prize. Stay focused on the main objective in all Events rather than getting bogged down in fighting other challengers, risking defeat by another player.

●If you want to avoid auto-targeting your friends during Events, be sure to set your Player Targeting Priority to Strangers.

actual_1443548108.png
Team up to take out the Beast and share the winnings afterwards.

HUNT THE BEAST

Objective:
Each player that elects to participate in this hunt-or-be-hunted Freemode Event has a chance to become the ominous Beast - a stronger and faster version of themselves. The Beast's goal is to visit Landmarks around Los Santos and Blaine County, collecting cash and RP while being hunted by the other players in the session. The Beast’s blip on the Radar is only visible to others for a short time at the start of the Event and after they visit each Landmark.

Tips:
Finding the Beast will prove to be challenging, so once you do you'll want to have it in your sights for as long as possible. To follow the Beast for an extended period of time, use the expanded Radar by hitting Start then Settings and Display (this is also a good tip to follow in general). Keep your ears open and listen closely for any growling sounds - this means the Beast is nearby. As the Hunters, the best strategy is to work together. Arrange for someone to follow the Beast in a chopper to communicate their location to the ground troops, hunt in packs and keep an open line of communication. Just be cautious, as the Beast is a deceptive one; they may be using voice chat to provide Hunters false information and throw them off the scent. Pedestrians will flee from the Beast making it difficult for them to blend in on foot. Hunters surveying the land by air should pay close attention to irregular driving patterns such as fast accelerating vehicles, abrupt lane changes or U-turns. Work in small teams with one person taking the wheel whilst the others navigate and keep an eye out for the Beast.

As for the Beast, in addition to the previously mentioned details, plan your collection route in order to hit the checkpoints as efficiently as possible. You'll have heightened speed and strength abilities so be sure to take advantage of those as well. If you are discovered by your pursuers keep calm, you can withstand the onslaught for a short period of time. Focus on the Hunters that pose the most immediate threat, try not to get cornered and when you have dispatched of the Hunters, flee the scene as quickly as possible. If you find that you're being tailed by a helicopter don't be afraid to stop and destroy it, this will buy you some time as they scramble to find more air support.

maxresdefault.jpg
Once on the throne, booby trap your Castle with Proximity Mines to protect yourself from sneak attacks.

KING OF THE CASTLE

Objective:
Once the Castle area appears on your Radar, rush over and find a way to secure it to earn yourself both cash and RP. Stay as the King for as long as possible - for each second you're in the Castle area you earn one point and for each kill you earn five. Until another player is able to forcibly remove you from your Castle and begin a reign of their own, your RP and GTA$ will continue to pile up.

Tips:
In your attempts to claim the Castle, you'll find gunfire and explosions to be plentiful - best to make use of the cover around you whenever possible. Amidst that chaos, focus your sights on the King as killing other players will only benefit the head of the kingdom. The one civilian you should feel free to go after is the points leader. If they aren't currently the King, taking them out on your way to the Castle area will prevent them from adding to their score. Once you do claim the throne, well-placed proximity mines can be a great defense of the Castle - hopefully helping to extend your reign for a good long while. Merryweather will gladly help out for a small fee so be sure to call in Mercenaries or a Backup Helicopter to dethrone the current King.

actual_1443548093.jpg
When playing as the driver in Moving Target, be sure to wait for a gunner who can help clear the path to your destination.

MOVING TARGET

Objective:
The safe delivery of a single vehicle is your objective for the round and you may have a friend help with securing the cash and RP bonuses. Moving Target will put your driving or flying skills to the test since all other participants will be rewarded for taking you out. Once the random vehicle appears on your Radar, rush over to its location. If the vehicle requires a gunner, you will receive some much-needed support.

Tips:
While you're busy focusing on steering your picked up vehicle to a safe delivery, have someone ride shotty to help fend off attackers and then share the cash. As in real life, don't always blindly rely on the GPS - you just might know a shortcut that's faster or safer.

maxresdefault.jpg

HOT PROPERTY

Objective:
Grab the briefcase and go! Hold onto a Briefcase for as long as you can until the eight minute timer runs out. Jump into a car, bike, boat, motorcycle, P-996 Lazer or just run for the hills. Stay on the move. As long as you are holding onto the Briefcase the other players will know where to find you. At the end of the Event the three players who held on to the Briefcase the longest will score cash and RP bonuses.

Tips:
Since the competition can easily locate players holding the Briefcase on their HUD, once you obtain one you should stay on the move as much as possible - a fast car such as the Kuruma is ideal. Fortunately, Briefcases can be picked up from inside your vehicle, allowing you to avoid exiting your car and thus being more vulnerable to enemy fire. Also, consider working with a partner to help secure the Briefcase and then share the cash if you win.

►Tips for Mastering Freemode Events - Part 2:
[This has been placed in [spoiIer] Tags for those that do not wish to read tips or spoil their experience in any way.]

In the second part of R☆'s Game Tips for the new GTA Online Freemode Events, we're looking at the ways to navigate Kill List and Competitive Kill List, Penned In, Dead Drop and Checkpoints on your road to successful mayhem. If you missed the first part of the Freemode Events Game Tips, check out Part One for more pro tips that will help you score big in the Freemode Events.

GETTING STARTED

First things first - prepare yourself for the potential impending chaos of the Freemode Events. To emerge a survivor and victor in these games, we recommend taking on board the following general tips:

●Stock up on all the essentials. Make sure you're armed to the teeth with plenty of firepower and ammo to back it up, decent Armor to protect you and Snacks at the ready. A good range of vehicles at your disposal will also be hugely beneficial, so make sure you've got a reliable mix - from motorcycles to sturdy off-road wheels - and be ready to call your Mechanic should you need to. Getting airborne may come in handy too, so have a chopper or a plane primed at Pegasus.

●Be generous with those bills by teaming up with others to help you take on those tricky challenges. You can team up and share your cash by going to the Inventory section in your Interaction menu, and selecting Cash. From there, choose which player you'd like to share with as well as a percentage cut.

●Keep an eye out for the purple help text and UI, which will pop onto your screen every so often. These hints will give you some helpful information specific to the Freemode Events.

●Don't get distracted from your main objective. Staying focused on the prize in all the Events helps you avoid getting caught up in fights with other challengers, which puts you at risk of being defeated by another player.

●If you want to avoid auto-targeting your friends during Events, be sure to set your Player Targeting Priority to 'Strangers.'

KILL LIST AND COMPETITIVE KILL LIST

actual_1444147108.jpg
Make sure all the guns are manned to maximize your stopping power.

Objective
In this Event, you'll be taking control of some heavy hitting machinery to duke it out with persistent mercenaries from Merryweather Security. Once you enter the vehicle, the countdown timer will start and you'll begin to rack up cash and RP for each kill. The Competitive version of this Event allows you and up to three other players to eliminate the Merryweather soldiers. The player with the most kills after 8 minutes will also grab an additional cash and RP bonus.

Tips
The Merryweather Security heavies will be laying down some furious fire so be quick and stay on the move to avoid hits from the mercenaries. Make the most of the industrial vehicles and use the maximum amount of players for each vehicle to deal the most damage. With this boost in numbers per vehicle, work as a team to outmaneuver and take down Merryweather but avoid wasting time or ammunition on the opposing team as you're unable to damage them. Your focus should be on taking out the Merryweather troops and getting as many kills as you can to build up cash and RP. If you're hitting the skies with a chopper, players seated in the back should make the most of their heavy weapons and rain down damage from above. Keeping an eye on the radar will help you get the jump on the Merryweather gunships, lay down some heavy fire as they approach to destroy them before they get into their attacking range. Also watch out for Merryweather mercenaries stationed on the ground as they will often be armed with RPGs and will make good use of cover to avoid your fire.

PENNED IN

Sticking close to the center of the dome and staying away from competitors is key to success in Penned In.

Objective
As soon as you see that Penned In is about to begin, jump into the nearest ride and find your way into the ring before the timer starts. The goal is to stay within the dome as it begins to move and shrink, attempting to knock other participants out, while doing your best to stay in the area. Your weapons are disabled for this round, so you must rely on expert driving skills to hold your ground and earn the cash and RP rewards.

Tips
As soon as you get notified of this Event, you'll need to think quick: an extra few seconds finding the right vehicle could mean you miss out on competing entirely. Bikes have greater maneuverability than cars but players should be wary of being easily knocked off by more heavy-weight contenders. However, while heavier, bigger vehicles are useful for pushing other cars out of the pen, you may find it harder to keep up the pace as the dome speeds up and shrinks in size. For those tempted by a plane or helicopter, don't forget that the dome has a height restriction - in our experience, steer well clear. Once you've chosen your vehicle, race as quickly as you can to get to the purple dome - the combo of a Merryweather pickup and a Mechanic delivery at the destination might be your best move.

Once the Event begins, remember that location is key, so try and keep to the middle of the pen and stay out of trouble. Competition will only get fiercer as the dome gets faster and smaller and there's less space to occupy. Keep an eye out for direction changes in the dome which could shift your momentum.

DEAD DROP

actual_1444147128.jpg
Work as a team, provide covering fire and protect those making a dash for the bag.

Objective
Dead Drop begins as soon as one person picks up the package that appears on your Radar. From there, each player battles to be the one holding the package when it reaches the destination marked on your map. There are cash and RP bonuses for taking out the holder, while the final carrier will pick up an extra cache as well as bragging rights for a smuggler’s run pulled off successfully.

Tips
There is significant strength in numbers in this Event, as long as you trust your partner to keep you safe and share the cash. Simultaneously driving and shooting is no easy skill, so sharing these tasks between two will turn you into a formidable force. Once you have the package, make a break towards a void of players - it can get tricky when you're totally surrounded. Avoid tight areas and corners where you could get boxed in with little room to escape. If you're the one doing the chasing then plan ahead and work out the best routes to counterattack and block the player with the parcel so that you can snap up your chance of victory.

CHECKPOINTS

actual_1444147154.jpg
Choosing the correct vehicle for the job will help immensely when collecting checkpoints.

Objective
When your Radar lights up with a plentiful number of Checkpoint icons, your objective will be to take to the land, sea or air to collect as many as you can in the allotted time. Before the Event begins, all of the players who want to join in will be directed to an area in Los Santos or Blaine County. Once there, they will then scatter in a mad dash to rack up the most Checkpoints with the aim to win cash and RP bonuses at the top of the leaderboard.

Tips
This is another Event where choice of vehicle is crucial in deciding whether you can make the top spot or not. Planes are faster but choppers can reach Checkpoints nestled in narrower, smaller places that planes may struggle with. For land Checkpoints dotted across rougher, heavy-duty terrain, consider using an off-road vehicle or a motorbike to speed up collection in tighter spots. Take the time to plan a route on your map, and steer clear of any congested areas - you don't want to waste precious time reaching a tricky Checkpoint only to have it snatched away from you as you approach. If you're in a Crew session, this is a great opportunity to test your teamwork skills: if ALL the checkpoints are collected, then everyone involved gets an extra GTA$5,000 and 1000 RP each. Numbers always welcomed by any pocket!

If you've already got excellent Freemode Events tips of your own, be sure to post them, and I'll add'em. Part Three of the special Freemode Events Game Tips series soon, so stay tuned HERE for more coming your way.

►The bounty payout system is yet again Broken.
◆They are again delayed.
◆It had finally been fixed in the Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2 update and seems to be VERY delayed again.

►More/Different aircraft spawns for Pegasus have been added.
◆For example the end of the Sandy Shore Runways, it can now have up to(or at least as far as I've seen) 4 aircraft spawned there, not counting the one inside of the hanger.
►A 5 minute Pegasus Cool Down Timer has been added:
◆This is of course to stop you from continuously ordering jets and blowing them up in "Criminal Damage".

►There are a lot more planes/choppers spawn at Los Santos International.
◆There are now frequently at least 4 PARKED or TAXING Luxors and a couple Parked Titan's in the back hangars and all three different Helipads are usually full or have one landing on the helipads.
◆Also now the Luxor that can be seen landing on the runway from a distance but NEVER from up close now land on the runway even if you are in the way, that was a fun discovery, LOL.

►The payout for Gerald missions has been decreased.
◆The amount of ammo many missions have been decreased, causing the player to lose ammo and money, of course due to the ammos cost.
◆The payout changes might have been done on purpose, so low level players ignore missions completely and participate in FM events instead, everything else are bugs regarding at least every PS4 player.
POSSIBLY!

►Holiday Stocking Mask Missing?
◆Well R☆ has an anwser, LOL;
●Question: I logged into GTA Online, and my Holiday Stocking Mask is missing from my inventory. Help!
●Answer: We have received reports of Holiday Stocking Masks going missing from GTA Online inventories, and we are currently looking into a fix.

R☆:"...we are open to keeping unintended ‘glitches’ in the game if players enjoy them and they aren’t causing any negative impact to gameplay or fairness in any way."

^^ This. This update is already the best ever, because of this 1 single thing. Full control over what you see, both on the radar and in the game.

But according to another thread, Rockstar don't listen to the players :p

Thanks for making this topic.

Just for reference, these are the official update notes with all the fixes for NG: https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/209297738--9-15-15-GTAV-Title-Update-1-29-Notes-PS4-Xbox-One-PC-

Of particular note in the section "General/Miscellaneous Fixes"

  • Fixed an issue which caused certain vehicles to be delivered with missing parts.

This might mean that the bodystyle 0 glitch which was reintroduced with update 1.27 (IGG 1) on June 10th of this year is finally fixed. I haven't received the update yet, though, and will be off to work in half an hour so will not be able to verify this until tonight.

EDIT: Just verified it. The bodystyle 0 glitch is fixed. Again. For now...

Event leaderboard can be accessed by pressing down on the d-pad. Player names highlighted in purple are event participants, whilst blue are not involved.

Player blips now have the direction pointer, like they used to have. Also, my Hydra spawned at the North West tip of the runway in the airport. There is at least one more spawn point - I suspect more.

Player blips have pointers to indicate direction. No longer just generic dots.

Hmm...old gen ps3 here

I will let my test subjects(all of you people on next gen) first test out all this stuff and then report on it...but this seems pretty interesting.
