Yeah, if only Fonteno was classy and poised in the media, like, say Michael Hollick who whinged and bitched that he didn't make enough money, even though he made $100K and was paid twice as much as the standard rate for voice actors in games. I guess not everyone can be grateful for their first big break that took an obscure actor and made him famous. Gee, if only Fonteno could be more like this shinning example of class.

You're right, this game will probably flop. It just looks kind of silly.

Why is everyone making such a fuss about this? Even those who "believe" there will be SP DLC, it isn't like we are sitting by our computers, feverish, shivering, sitting vigil, and waiting with baited breath. What do you lose if you happen to just off handedly believe some SP will be coming and it doesn't come?

 

I choose to believe Rockstar will do it. So do a lot of people. But nobody is in denial, because believing it may happen costs you nothing, unless you are emotionally investing yourself so deep into it that if it doesn't come you'll be gutted.

 

Honestly, I have seen very few people (probably nobody) who have no lives here, and who are so desperate for SP DLC that they will be in danger of metaphorically slitting their own wrists if there is no DLC.

 

If it comes, great.

 

If not. Oh well. Next GTA game will hopefully be even more amazing and jammed with fantasmagorical content than GTA V, and maybe, with an even better story!

Gotta wonder where this thread (and the o.g one) would be if it weren't for all the bullsh*t North Yankton, LC, sp DLC etc etc "leaks".

 

Feels like literally the only things that make this crap waiting game somewhat interesting are these stupid lies that come up every 3-4 months and tend to last a week or so until they are inevitably debunked.

 

Like, when will it end? I've been, against my better judgement, optimistic each time a believable leak or rumour pops up but am sick of being disappointed. And all this red dead stuff has been my final lesson in not believing anything R* related without concrete proof.

 

Imagine if none of this had ever happened, like not a single leak or rumour (true or otherwise) I wonder if this thread would have survived or would people have given up hope way earlier than this? I mean, aside from discussing fake leaks this thread really hasn't been much else than a far-fetched wishlist worth maybe 100 pages? Btw I have been lurking since the first rumours of a new GTA (in particular the mapping thread, post-announcement), and essentially the only thing bringing me back to check these forums since release is the prospect of SP DLC, and a few online updates (heists, lowriders)

 

I know I'm setting myself up for disappointment but the nail in the coffin for me with regard to SP DLC will be if nothing is announced when the Trio go on tour together later this year, even though I'm pretty sure f*ck all will happen, and even if it did R* have stupidly missed the window for maximum hype in my opinion

Serious note if SP DLC isn't coming, Rockstar are even more grade A c*nts and their thought process had to be c*ntish and sets a pattern for future GTA's/Rockstar titles which people don't even realiSe..

In october we'll have definitive answer, the first question the 3 actros will have to answer will be "where's the sp dlc?" and they'll have to say somethng. They could surprisingly announce it or (most likely) deny its existence. I was wonder... What if R* won the lawsuit against the Benz, a sp dlc could come true...
