On-topic: If you could have anyone as protagonist in the DLC, who would you have and why?

listen man you can't expect to get thru to everyone. Majority of the people I have presented this to, take what I say into account and believe what I have said could be a very strong possibility. And I'm sticking by that, and until I'm proven wrong in any form or fashion, yes! your stuck with me but seriously all I ask if to let me breakdown my point and logic. And provide some kind of ample evidence backing what I'm saying.

No I never said a new GTA I said something substantial "dlc" that brings in big $ Revenue. Something recurrent players will buy. Each year!read this and it will make sense.

What do you mean GTA V is not complete? Lol I know some people say it's rushed but still. And R* has a way better reason to make Online DLC than to tide fans over. Here it is:

And will continue to release a title with a strategy that is effective & efficient manner to not burn out titles, using multiplayer & dlc. And They cannot go a year without releasing a new title or a substantial dlc that brings in title release revenue. Which the spdlc will be classified almost as a new game. Like funmw2 said will be in part(s) which will hold us down until w.e R* has planned. And more than likely will not be a GTA.

A "once-a-year proposition" means that they change strategy from year to year. Therefore, there is no proven year-in-year-out strategy that you keep on about. It differs from year to year.

Also, I'm calling it. MrGTA1985 is the new GtaoJackbroker.

I'd like to see the percentage. Imo.. Say 85 percent who play are males, 15% are women.. 70% of males would be put off playing as a woman, due to roleplay etc. Whereas women don't really care (in my opinion, don't give me all that crap about generalising). I believe 90% of that 15% only play online, and can be female on that..

 

Basically, having a woman as a main protagonist will affect sales so much, due to aiming at the smaller audience.

 

As "childish" as this sounds. I love GTA, had every single one, batter V. But if they done a female protagonist. I honestly, will not buy the game. And this is someone, who loves it. Don't fix what ain't broken.

I would love to see a female protagonist. I am a man. But hey, i like to see new things in life. doing the same thing over and over n over. And if you wouldn't buy the game because of that, is like.. Well i don't even know. I mean the game could be great and the story might blow your mind but if you're not open to it, that's your problem.

 

Rockstar games has always been the company that pushes the boundaries so why not keep doing it? Bring 3 badass female protagonist to to gta 6. I would find it really interesting..

If you take off your sexist blinders for a moment, then maybe you'd realize that female protagonist have become much more popular the last couple of years. It lets them tell a unique and a pretty refreshing story. A female lead character will happen in GTA one day(assuming they stay the three character route). And to say you won't buy it if includes a playable female character is pretty shallow and sexist. It won't affect sales negatively, hell it might actually boost sales because of that one character alone.

I have always wanted the feature that saints row provided when it came down to protagonists. by letting you create the appearance, gender and the voice for your character. However i dont think letting us pick our own character in a GTA story wouldn work as much. Imagine creating a Rich man/woman living in Sandy Shore, it just wouldn't work with the story.
