Yes but a Tatoo artist who sued wanted 4million dollar, he got 23 000 in the end...lol

R* will lose out a lot, if they dont do a SP DLC. its not just about money, but the SP DLC is a very high demand from their customers.

On another note, You can copyright anything these days. as a matter of fact, I'm going to copyright this post right now (Work things out with GTA Forums) and nobody else is allowed to quote it, without paying me first.

The "high demand" is from forums and from a very small number of people, less than 2% actualy...so they realy don't need to care.

On another note, I used your quote under fair use lol ;)

Let us do some math:

There are almost only the people in GTAForums DEMANDING a Story DLC, probably the same amount of people who bought the Story DLC for GTA IV, but for the sake of your advantage lets assume all members of this forum would DEMAND a Story DLC:

This forum has 667,533 Total members, 50 million people bought Grand Theft Auto V,

This equals 1,34%, so clearly under 2%, now you might argue there are people beyond GTAForums demanding a Story DLC, however we have little to no data for that, so we also cannot base any conclusions about it.

Yes. I was speaking in general not just GTAF. meaning saying its less than 2%, isn't accurate as its just based off GTA Forums.

50 million people bought GTAV, and there's 8 million online players. Are 42 million players SP only? No, they just don't play it because it's a mediocre game and there's far better to play.

There aren't just 8 million Online players, there are 8 million Players a week Online, just a little correction.

And your conclusion is again a bit off, a LOT of people just completed the game enjoyed it for what it was and moved along, just because someone doesn't play a game even 2 years after release it doesn't mean its bad or "mediocore"(whatever that term means by definition).

People only bought the game because of the hype, but after they played it, they realized it was a stupid and mediocre game and moved on to far better games.

That point again, holds no factual bases its just a broken assumption without any proof to back it up.

Especialy since GTA V sold more than decent on Next Gen consoles, and it is STILL selling very well on Next Gen consoles.

I think its time for you to accept that GTA V is all over a very well perceived game.

Pshh.

8 million weekly players? What a failure of a game.

Not a lot of people play GTA V Daily (very few do). 8 million GTA Players a week isn't consistent, but when a new update or DLC comes out, you can bet everyone is going to be there.

Also 8 million players a week is immense, I mean that is more than the overall number of current World of Warcraft subscribers...

in case you didn't notice World of Warcraft is/was the biggest MMO.

I think a lot of people would care about DLC, but not as many as you believe.

I'm in my early 20's, and I can tell you most people who I know that bought V probably wouldn't care.

Yeah same, I know all 55 million people in my airsoft league. We were at Chili's last Thurs and I swear every single one of them gave a little hipster shrug and kept pecking away at smartphones when I brought up GTA 5/O DLC.

Hmm.. I care though. This feeling - this lonesome well inside of me - will it get better?

It was the biggest MMO during its prime. By far. There was nothing like it. I don't think it's fair to compare GTA Online to Warcraft. You're obviously not going to expect as big as of a playerbase for a 10 year old video game.

This, unfortunately is what YOU want to believe since you just can't accept the reality.

Paha will I laugh when the next Grand Theft Auto will break sales records AGAIN...and pah will you be here complaining again? And stating that it was all just the hype again?

It was just a mere comparison but GTA Onlines player count is also very good compared to other modern AAA games, like for example Battlefront, Battlefield, Call of Duty...

To be honest, since GTA 6 will only be on PS4 and Xbox One (then on PC a year or two later), I doubt it will sell as much as GTA 5. GTA 5 sold over 40 million copies just on last-gen alone. I don't think GTA 6 can sell that much without spanning its sales over two console generations, like GTA 5 did.

Why wouldn't it?

Its all a matter of timing and marketing and as we all know R* is more than very good at both.

It probably won't sell as much as V because so many people fell for the hype and were let down. I know I won't be jumping at GTA6, i've seen plenty of disappointment for V on the net elsewhere, and i'm sure there's millions of others with the same opinion.

The only reason PC version came out when it did is because TakeTwo knew that there would be players who would have bought previous gen, would buy "next-gen" and would more than likely buy the PC version, too.

PS4 and XBONE share the same architecture as PC (x86) and therefore should not have any reason to be delayed by that significant a period. The "next-gen" version of the game is simply a cut down version of the PC, technically and visually speaking.

That said, it would probably be in TakeTwo's best financial interests to do a console release before PC, for the same reason mentioned above.

It probably will sell just as much, if not more than V because so many people bought and played the game and enjoy it to this day. I know I'll be jumping at GTA 6, I've seen plenty of appreciation for V on the net elsewhere, and I'm sure there's millions of others with the same opinion.

That's how this works, right?

You seem pretty confident about that

I will actualy feel sorry for you when GTA 6s sales numbers will burst your bubble.

Here's another way of looking at V's sales figures:

Surely it opens up way more possibilities for the future game with the huge amount of funding available from V? One would think the extreme value of the series would allow them to expand the budget even further, with confidence.

I wish GTA V on PC took advantage of Nvidia PhysX.

You mean like Arma 3 took advantage of NVidia PhysX

(For refference: Arma 3 quite literally has little to no actual physics yet is advertised with NVidia PhysX).

PhysX has nothing to do with actual in-game Physics its just a framework.

That was a scam for the New Gens. a lot of people like myself and i have seen a lot post on here and other forums, bought GTA V for the new gen only because Rockstar said they were going to continue the story of the trio. And its still selling good on New Gens cause Rockstar gave up on the old gens. So all those people who most likely are GTAO fans but didnt want to give into the new system had to, because Rockstar stopped Supporting the old gens. It was a great Scam by Rockstar to double their profits. It was nothing less then pure greed by them.
