As somebody who plays mostly online these days (unless psn is down..), i'd really like to see all of the vehicles online exclusive content released for single player. If its peppered throughout a new dlc, then even better. But if we DON'T get a dlc, I really want hydra, low riders, yachts, weapons, ect, ect... It's all cut content mostly, so it shouldn't be to hard to release for SP.

especially lowriders. Did the glitch on ps4 to get the lowrider onto SP for F. It just fits his theme perfectly. Our wannabe online character gets lowriders yet lamars best f*cking friend doesn't????

 

I want Online DLC for SP as much as the next guy but, if you payed any attention to the story at all, you'd see Franklin hates the gang life so how the f*ck does this fit his theme perfectly?

 

Cause he's the only character whose a member of the gang. Like it or not F still has a bandana to use and is still respected by his gang. It may not fit him as well as it did for CJ but it's fit him a lot more than M T or our online character. Plus his best friend is Lamar. He could just be helping Lamar become the King of lowriders

 

To add to my last comment. That means that rockstar should have removed robbing stores at the end of the story since we're all "gold rich" by the end of it.

I feel robbing stores really didn't seem a good choice, nor stealing money from an armored truck, and a couple of other boring, very basic ( no complexity ) activities with very weak replay ability for the story mode.

I expected much more challenging activities with more depth and thought put into designing them.

A lot of the things are just the "old vine in a new bottle" and interesting only in the short term.

For an ambitious, groundbreaking game as Rockstar claims, the side distractions in the name of activities are extremely weak.

This is why I think SP DLC is one last chance in mitigating these weaknesses'.

I agree with your last sentence. SP DLC is rockstars only chance in fully exploiting the potential SP has.

I reckon for the time being R* are going to add these online updates exclusively to Online. As that means people will play online more and we will have to spend more money on online. A lot of people used to buy cars in SP, drive them, then see if they will buy them in GTAO. This meant that people didnt waste money on online. But now they have to spend the money on online. Which benefits Rockstar in a way. If there was to be a SP DLC i would think that they will add all these Exclusives to SP eventually, no doubt. Who Knows a SP DLC might be GTA V's last update if it happens.

GTA series has a video for San Andreas beta content and there are cut missions that are playable with the use of mods because those files are in the codes. If there a mod like that for gta v pc then somebody needs to find it. GTA story mode has been getting content all the way up to ill gotten gains 1 and 2 that's a lot. They don't have enough disc space probably that's why there has to be a reason or else rockstar wouldn't have problem adding these things.

 

I own a yacht online and the charm wears out after awhile if it wasn't for the VIP jobs it would've have gotten boring quickly. Now what could you do with a yacht in story line when there is no action or npc's attacking your yacht? How much fun would that be?

I want Online DLC for SP as much as the next guy but, I'm sorry but did you even pay attention during the story? Even if you didn't, people on this forum point it out time and time again, Franklin wants NOTHING to do with gangs, that's basically his whole character arc in the story, leaving low rent crimes to do high end sh*t so how the f*ck does it fit his theme perfectly? It'd be cool if we did get the DLC for SP but seriously, Franklin doesn't want to be a gangbanger, he literally moved away from the hood to live in Rockford Hills, he was even willing to let Lamar die because he didn't want to keep getting pulled back in. If that doesn't show his disdain for the hood, I don't know what will. I'm sorry I went on this huge rant over a small part of a sentence, but seriously, if people want a SP DLC so much, they should at least f*cking understand the story first.

There's a difference between understanding and not caring. I understand each characters story, but at the end of the day, the fun and gameplay is what matters most. That's one of the biggest complaints of GTA IV, too serious and the 'fun' of SA had been lost. IV was still great, but i really missed what SA gave us. Same now, I don't care for Franklins story, I just want the vehicles, weapons and new additions online got.You kidding right? The reason why GTA IV it's amazing it's the great and deep storyline R* (C* now) made. Although the game lack many of the great things SA had, it was different and much more realistic. SA had also an amazing story apart from great gameplay. That's why it's the best GTA of all. V on the other hand, lacks both. Yeah, it has many things to have and customize, but remember that Quantity < Quality.

 

No, I'm not kidding. I have an opinion. It's different to yours, shocking. But I didn't say IV's story was bad. I actually loved it. I just loved the overall game of SA more. The stroy allowed for the more fun and crazy elements, whereas Nikos story didn't. Still a great story, but a very limiting one. However it was great in a 'take a break, do something different for a change' way. Again, IMO V has a good story, not great, I didn't hate Devon or that other guy who did the TV show as much as Tenpenny or Pulaski. But I enjoyed M, T & F's adventure from beginning to end. It just wan't as 'exciting'

Damn spam errors excuse the above postanother thing about that everything is about money complaint. It's sodamn easy to make money in this game especially now with the free roam events there should be no excuse but some people are lazy. It's 2x cash 2rp event weekend and yesterday I made over 200 thousand dollars just from doing a three event playlist. I'd rather my character have a reason for doing the things he does I.e. money instead of just roaming around the map mindlessly and killing other players. This is what gta IV online looks like now nobody does the races deathmatxhes etc. I wish I was there in gta IVs multiplayer heyday though. I wonder what that game is like with full participation

It's 2x cash 2rp event weekend and yesterday I made over 200 thousand dollars just from doing a three event playlist.

Event weekends are the only times I ever see anyone do playlists. Otherwise they're always empty whenever I come across one.

Yeah....No. I cant be arsed to grind hours for over priced stuff thanks, if i wanted to grind i'd play an MMORPG. I want to play a GTAIt didn't take hours. That event playlist took 45 minutes at the most. Like I said there's so many ways to make money hell, the game gives you 2000 dollars periodically for good behavior. Be a body guard for a VIP player and you're paid 5thousand dollardps every 15 minutes and the jobs pay between 20-30 thousand dollars that's another 200 thousand right there in just one hour. It up to you yeah you can make money but dont let virtual money be your motivation fun should be your motivation or else you won't enjoy it. Money is the reason people skip playlist or captures because they don't pay and they are fun if played with a full lobby rockstar even gives tips on how to okay. I remember the days when people did participate in these modes an it was fun and hectic.

They should know that fun is the focus and not grinding to buy the next big thing. There also versus missions which are fun but people hardly touch those. The lts created matches were ruined because of snipers vs stunters and rockets vs insurgents because they have been modded to pay out more but its a boring way to play. Online would be better if people found it in themselves to enjoy the game but sadly the community is filled with immature adults kids and "gangsters" who think they are really in the streets whos idea of fun Is lobby wars and talking sh*t back and foth to eachother there are a lot of dumb assses out there
