Nick is back.

Nick survived the evening after a chat with the Housers. They've decided it's fair to let him off with a warning (they slaughtered his family) and let him continue testing the builds as long as another case isn't solved.

Looks like Nick wasn't the only one working on it. Mark only lasted a short time until he went on "sabbatical" so Nick inherited... I mean took control over the branch.

Looking at the "markdlcdepots", I have a feeling that he's in relation to Lead QA Nick Robey, and that person would be Mark Bentley.

 

Anyway, the name of his depot actually suggests there was a depot where DLC was being tested. That may have meant the current and upcoming existing DLC for free updates, which takes a bit of testing, more particularly the gameplay in any new modes or missions. If it's not any of that, then this is a bit of evidence that COULD support an expansive DLC. I'm not aiming towards the story DLC fence for this, more just speculating on what this means.

I haven't seen it on my screen yet so I have no opinion one way or the other on something that doesn't exist.

Yes. Why not? He was right before, there's reason to trust him. Not saying you have to believe it 110%, but when someone has been doing it for that long and has been correct for the majority of the time, you can't argue with it. It's playing the percentages. If he had a 70% record of being correct, you'd be wise to trust. If he was correct 30% of the time, you'd be wise to doubt. It's that simple.

Not sure, since it's gone. Although that could be a clear indication. But id did seem plausible, given the explanation for the branch yesterday.

Not sure what you saw, but if it was that it may be made by a guy called Nick at Rockstar Leeds who is Quality Assurance Lead, that's probably what it is indeed.

I've said this a few pages ago, and I'll repeat it again. Take-Two's quarterly earnings call for third quarter fiscal year 2016 will be on February 3rd. EA just announced during their call that their will be a NEW Battlefield to be launched during holiday 2016, and a NEW Titanfall is in production. If you guys remember Take-Two confirmed launch windows for new Rockstar Games which later revealed to be GTAV for next-gen and PC. I'm not saying get your hopes up, but hopefully Take-Two announces that unannounced game to be a Rockstar title releasing in a specific launch window.
