I only go after jet morons and those people who enjoy f*cking up a lobby picking on sub rank 40's all day. * The two I killed in the video I posted spent a good 2 hours turning the airport area into GTA IV's airport... It's official, the threads official. Thanks Lamar. On another note - I recommend watching some of "Tonksi's" videos on YouTube. Sadly, he's inactive but there is some good footage on his channel which includes tips for fighting jets but also challenges and reviews of aircrafts. I've seen some of his videos. They're definitely helpful. For months I couldn't figure out why my cannon shots kept missing on moving player vehicles. He explained in one of the videos to try aiming the cannon ahead where the car is going to be in a few seconds because the explosions happen later and lag. CarimboHanky Posted September 13, 2015 Share Posted September 13, 2015 Anyone who flies around in a jet is a coward who is skeered of mixing it up on the ground. or maybe they are players that got tired of ownining people on the ground and now take the jet as a way to mix thing up. in my case i have well over 45k player kills, i had around 43.4k when i got into the jet a couple months ago. i was getting bored of fighting on the ground when a friend named TrickStar, a professional jet griefer, gave me a couple tips and tricks, i started to practice and have been improving a lot. i used to hate the jets because, just like many, i was under the impression that spraying a area with the cannon was a piece of cake, boy i was so wrong. it actually takes time and practice to get good at killing ground targets with out crashing or getting blown by homing missiles every minute. jet griefing is love, jet griefing is life! I normally fly in passive (that's when I feel like playing this game and not other games) and only engage when being provoked by a Lazer or Buzzard (lol). They end up getting rekt. Getting sniped in a jet in jet mode at high speed however I find impossible, especially doing moves. Got a video related to jet sniping. Lead the target with the cannons . If you are in a hydra make use of the VTOL to execute quick turns. Against anyone semi-competent though, I'd wholeheartedly recommend the Lazer. You jet fanatics are playing the wrong game. The secret is a long, straight. low approach and to remember to retard engines well before landing, rather than smashing onto the runway. xInfamousRYANx Posted September 13, 2015 Share Posted September 13, 2015 (edited) Today i watched some videos of people flying backwards ect in jets and tried practicing in the air race creator but i cant get the jet to slide backwards into a knife edge it just slides back then drops the nose and goes forward. Like most on gta I enjoy getting down and dirty in the streets, but also like to mix it up abit with a jet.
