Faaz
PS3. I really do not want to state the obvious, but... Lobby-time and Quitters. Sometimes it takes me TWO FRIGGING HOURS!!! to actually play the game. You pick your phone and start a Heist Setup. - Pick your phone, launch a mission - Cutscene - Loading time. - Setup mission and invite players. - Invite players - Invite players.. - Someone joins - Invite players.. - Someone joins - Waiting - Waiting - Inviting players - Joined player leaves (prob cuz it's taking so much time) - Inviting players - Second joined player leaves - Someone joins - Inviting players - Waiting - Joined player leaves - Inviting players - Someone is joining - Joined player leaves...... - Invite players - Invite players.. - Someone joins - Invite players.. - Someone joins - Waiting - Waiting - Inviting players - Invite players - Invite players.. - Someone joins Lobby is full so let's play. - Loading - Friggin' wardrobe party (+3mins) - Cutscene - Drive to destination - Do the actual mission until 80% of progress. Then someone dies. We have to start over. Player leaves. - Back to square one. ------------------------------------------------- Only the lobby-time can take from fifteen minutes up to multiple(!!) hours were ppl just enter and leave, inviting people and sending messages asking for them to just wait. Very f*cking frustrating. This is a waiting-game. The missions are great however.. I really try to understand how the developers do not took this in consideration to just...Fasten the proces UP. Wtf, man?! Anyway, i've heard they are implementing a new kinda system in the next update, on 15th september. So lets hope this will do better.. REXX
Join a crew and make some friends. You'll pretty much bypass all of the palava. Claptrap NL
Spin-me
You are playing a 10 years old system. The PS3 has 256MB of ram and it's graphic card equivalent is the Nvidia 7800GTX. If you build a PC with the same specs, you won't even be able to start windows. The optimization RockstarGames has done for these consoles is absolutely incredible and you have to stop complaining or upgrade. Don't be that guy. StangOne50
Its unfortunate but heists were meant to be played with your friends and from an invite only lobby(not with randoms and hosting from a public lobby). The difference is night and day, to me atleast, and Ive had my fair share of both. I can get together with a few friends and have setups done in an hour or so vs. hosting in public lobbies and inviting randoms taking literally days to get setups done. Ive spent literally hours and hours just sitting on 1 setup lol If you dont have atleast 1 friend helping you out its gonna be a bitch Edited September 12, 2015 by StangOne50

TheWizardDude
Forget heists. They have poor RP rewards, take too long, are annoying as all hell, and are no fun unless you're doing it with friends or competent people. Try playing around in free roam with friends in an invite/friends only session. Find things to do, enjoy doing whatever, do some missions. GTA Online doesn't revolve around Heists or PVP, it revolves around doing what you do for fun. That's the point of it all: Having fun. Creme_Brulee
OP, just get 3 friends to help you and don't play in public sessions. You can finish the PS heist along with all setups withing one hour and a half with people who know how to do it, what to do, and don't fail. The heists I've played have all been to unlock vehicles/equipment, or just to help a friend do them. Once that's done, they're done. Zero replay value, IMO. Too much cut-scene crap, minimal RP and GTA$, and the heists themselves are no more interesting to me than the dullest of missions. Give me regular missions any day or just free mode for random fun/adventure. Edited September 14, 2015 by DentureDynamite

Give me regular missions any day or just free mode for random fun/adventure. I'll disagree somewhat here. I find the replay value a bit better than a lot of contact missions at this point. I'll agree that the cut-scenes have gotten very old, and if you want RP missions are probably the better way to go. Heists I find better for $ if you can get through them successfully without much wasted time. Yes, it's frustrating waiting for a lobby to fill (and 1 host or 2 players is awful for a 4 person heist), but I find they enforce cooperation a bit more than many missions. If you are intent on success and playing with randoms, then you probably will get frustrated. When playing with randoms, sometimes I can carry and get appreciation for that. Sometimes I meet very skilled players and add them. Sometimes it's a complete disaster and hilarious at the same time.
Claptrap NL
Why the f*ck do you need 4 players for a mission? You don't have any skills OP? Odin and me rock all the missions together, we need no help and even if we have to do it solo, we both can make it.
