Cry me a river. Your lucky Rockstar is even choosing to still and content to this game. If they knew how entitled their fan base was and how much they bitched and complained, I'm pretty sure they would of stopped after Heists.

I'm pretty sure if they knew all that, they would've only given us the heist update and maybe the contact missions from the High Life Update and any other additional content would be nothing more than patches to glitches, mods, and exploits.

 

 

Exactly. And how many games are still getting DLC added two years after it was released. The only one I can think of is Minecraft.

 

How many games were getting DLC's after a year? How many games were getting every DLC they ever added for free 6 months later? A year? pretty sure 2 years of regular, free DLC's is unheard, but that's still not good enough for these people. I can only imagine what it's costing R* to maintain all this stuff and continue to develop and design new clothes, cars, etc.

Micro-transitions have nothing to do with the state of the game. Money has never been difficult to come by legitimately if you put in a bit of effort.

What has Rockstar forced you to buy? What was unattainable without purchasing a sharkcard? I truly wish EVERY game would use Rockstars method of DLCs. Rockstars method was sooooo successful that you see other games try it. While not to the same level as GTAOnline I saw COD implement this in part. True not in the map pack aspect but in customized articles they did. I havent paid Rockstar a penny outside of purchasing the game twice. Once on PS3 and again when I upgraded to PS4. Well worth the price, and I have everything you can get. Other than the overpriced gold helicopter and plane. Just didnt want them

EDIT: As long as I never see a single zombie game mode come to this series I still have faith in R*.

Heck, I'd gladly pay for a proper DLC rather than get "free" updates which give us a couple cars and a gun to hide a ton of patches.

Absolutely this.

 

I would rather pay for a decent story based DLC than to receive these free DLC modes that hardly include much.

 

Again, I've been ready for GTA 6 since April.

Lol... Don't even bother asking a logical question like that on here... There's a bunch of people on this forum that claim to "be done" with this game yet they still lurk the GTAO section and the Update threads as soon as something new pops up.

Your idea doesn't seem to waste player's money. So Rockstar don't think they're interesting.

 

Please explain how updates "waste" player's monies? Since GTA4, people have been complaining that wasn't much to spend our money on, online and off. And now that there is, people are up in arms about it. Great logic.

 

And also, does this update waste people's money? No.

They pretend like they're running out of ideas when in actuality the community has more to ideas to offer. They could be easily implemented but Rockstar is doing their own sh*t. Editor? Sure for those who want to make montages or a movie they may wanna watch when they're bored. More free roam events? Are those even popular?
